The cabin we rented was clean and linens were provided. We asked for clean towels without a problem. I wish the common area was just little bigger by say two feet. At times that was tight.

The staff was very friendly and the campground itself has a lot for the kids to do and it is beautiful. I would go back again. Our second cabin was amazing and super cold. Our first one by the river had an older ac unit and was extremely hot inside (it was in the 90s outside), but the second cabin had a nicer and newer ac unit and was super cold inside. Love this place

Cabin smelled like a terrible cleaner, used to try and cover up the terrible dog smell. Doors & windows filthy. The wood countertop in the kitchen sticky & shouldn't be used in a kitchen, no way that could be bleached properly. After returning home I looked at my receipt & I was charged for dogs, I have 2 service dogs & I have NEVER been charged for my service dog anywhere, Will NEVER return.

I have never had a positive experience with the management at this KOA ! They are not very friendly, The property is ok but the fishing pond is mucky , can’t fish in it The TV would not work in a cabin we stayed in , Maintenance tried to fix but didn’t ,He Said I would get an adjustment on rate at check out but I did not . Just not the right place for me I guess

The comments have been reviewed thoroughly and taken into consideration. Based on the circumstances surrounding the stay and the continuing to miss your expectations, the decision has been made that Angola KOA is not the best fit for future stays.

We really enjoyed our stay, even after the rude people in the cabin next to us. But mgmt took care of it. The only down side was the boat/cart rentals seemed a bit steep to pay for compared to other koas. And the cabin price seemed a bit much, but I feel they always are no matter which koa it is. The Manager (did not catch his name) and David greeted us at the gate at 8:30 pm and helped us with finding our cabin and parking our vehicle and attached boat, even though it was well after the office was closed. The next morning we needed some breakfast essentials and even though it was way before the store opening time, the Manager saw us and opened the store early. Does this guy ever sleep? :)

Camped here several times, The new bathrooms, lake inflatables, and general park upkeep are great. Looks like they got in some new staff members and getting results. Dan, Lisa, Ben and Sandy are still there and still doing great things for the campground. Came for ninja weekend and they had a huge inflatable course for the kids and adults set on the front lawn. TV didn't work in our cabin (306) and it was unfortunate that the game supplies needed for horseshoes, ping pong and ladder ball weren't readily available like the corn hole supplies. Otherwise, we loved this campground and our stay here!

Rented a pet friendly cabin and it is very clean! It was stocked up with everything we needed esp in the kitchen good for 8 people! Linens, pillow are toiletries are provided as well which is a plus!

We love coming to Angola Koa. We have come every year since KOA took over the property. Each time we come there are new improvements like the newly renovated bathrooms. We will be coming for years!

We were to stay 4 nights but my husband had a medical emergency and ended up in the hospital and we could not get refunded for the other two nights we had paid for, we will not be back

The room was as stated on the website. It was clean and everything worked. Parking was easy. They even put dog dishes and a mat for our dog in the cabin - nice touch. The office staff was very polite and helpful.

The campground itself definitely has potential! I think the Angola Indiana area is starting to grow and prosper, but the seasonal campers versus the KOA campers might be a problem at some point. The seasonal people feel like they own the place versus those who just come in for a few days or a week. The pool area is really nice, the beach is a nice touch and you can see they are making improvements

We camped towards the end of April it was A nice relaxing week. We rented one the deluxe cabins and it was fantastic clean nicely setup.

Very friendly and caring staff at check in. Friendly staff throughout stay answering my questions. So glad to have cabin with shower and bathroom. The bed had the best mattress I have ever slept on (better than any hotel I have been in). Thank you for a GREAT campout. Fire pit large and appreciated. Grounds well cared for. Nice areas to walk and enjoy lake.

I have been using koa cabins for years. The cabin we stayed in was listed as a deluxe cabin but did not meet the normal level of koa cabins. The heat was inadequate probably due to the grate in the floor that you could see outside. Most of the electrical outlets were non functional. The shower head was hanging from the wall. The TV was not working correctly. No amenities in the kitchen. And other.

Rented a cabin for 2 nights with 3 others and cannot say enough about our stay. Staff was great and helped out on a few small issues. The cabin was so cozy and warm, and everything was right there for us. Thank you for everything!!!

Great location just a few hours from Chicago and plenty of activities for kids. They're open year-round, unlike other Midwest campgrounds. In the winter, you almost have the place to yourself. I suggest that you pack your own drinking water. The sulfur smell in the tap water is strong.

Our pipes froze in our cabin and the team went above and beyond to try and fix it for us and make it right. There was nothing that could have been done on their part to prevent this and I know they ensured the cabin had running water prior to our stay because we did for a bit. They had every single maintenance person on the issue and comped our stay and gave us an upgrade. They were amazing!

Cabin we were in had its problems. Water had a bad smell. Bed was terrible. No water pressure. Some of the electric outlets did not work especially by coffee machine. Plus when we went into the store the clerk was very rude. Cabin number was 308.

Clean restrooms, friendly staff, and a great Halloween weekend for the kiddos. trick or treating and a spooky haunted barn. for a campground that is this big and has so many permanent sites its very well kept and well stocked. definitely a campground to check out if you are passing thru or looking for a fun weekend. just watch out for those noisy late night golf cart parades on the weekends.

We enjoyed the campground but staff that checked us in was very rude. I rented 2 cabins and 2 tents site for two nights and this seemed to be more than they wanted to deal with. They told us our cabins weren’t ready and I requested to use the tent sites until the cabins were ready. The staff never entered th cabins and after 2 hours we were finally got the keys. I felt like I was a inconvenien

We stayed in a cabin over memorial weekend. Very impressed with all there was to do for the kids (even with crummy weather). Nice facilities!! our cabin was so spacious and VERY clean!! The activities were so fun. Everyone we ran into was so welcoming including all the staff!! We really appreciated feeling at home for the weekend! Definitely plan to be back to enjoy with warmer weather!! If you have kids/teenagers this place is a must!!!

We come here a couple times every year with family. Has a ton of stuff to do for kids, including lake with beach, lazy river and pool, jumping pads and a couple of playground, fishing peers etc. We love it here!

PROS: Looking for a great spot for kids to have a blast during the day? This is THE place. My son is almost nine and he loved the pool with lazy river, the activities (golf cart candy parade and tie dye) and just biking and hanging out with neighbor kids. There are so many wonderful choices for children and I value that! I found the bathrooms to be fairly clean for the amount of people camping on this weekend. CONS: The site we were given (733) was an actual nightmare to park our rig on. Backing in, even for someone skilled, was horrible. There were bricks in the road (to prevent water ponding) and it popped our tire. There was not a way around them backing into the site. We were not given an alternative site and that was infuriating. Do NOT choose site 733 if you want to start your weekend off peacefully. The lady at the front that checked us in even jokingly said “geez I hope you don't get stuck trying to get into that spot” but I had no clue what she meant until we saw the spot. What a shame. The second con is the noise. Many of the sites are seasonal and the guests have golf carts. It makes walking around, especially with littles on bikes, not only unnerving but downright dangerous. With that said, they cruise around, music blasted, until quiet hours which begin at 11pm. With an exhausted kiddo at 9pm, the noise can be a lot. It's too much truthfully. If you're hoping for a little bit of peace, you'll be sad here. If you love a good ruckus and have kids up super late-this is your dream spot. Again, don't choose site 733 though. You've been warned. 🙃
