Your camp host are very rude. They have no respect for the Visitors. We we thinking about dropping are membership!!!!

We had a lake view site which was very nice. Bathrooms are a bit dated but clean. Roads are paved so dust wasn’t an issue. WiFi did not work but staff relayed that is currently being worked on to remedy the situation.

Stayed 5 days at the end of season. Staff and cabin was awesome. Never been to a KOA that had permanent residents. Didn't really care for that. Like meeting people from all over the country.

The campground is very nice. Golf cart rental is a little on the high side but our trip was very fun

We love the Angola KOA, one of our favorites. This campground has a ton to do for the kids and is very clean. The only thing we did not care of this trip was our spots. We were in 223 which was very noisy being so close to the road. I believe we selected the fishing pond spots. I was hoping we would be on the other side of the fishing pond. Other than that, the experience was great as usual.

We were having work done on our RV and booked this KOA due to its proximity to the service area and not knowing when we would receive our coach back during the day. We were not disappointed. We chose the gazebo site 122 in the front for easy in and easy out. We had plenty of room for our 44ft RV and truck (after disconnecting). We could not park behind, we had to park in front of the RV.

Great stay. There was allot to do and the pool was still open even though it was past labor day. The lake was beautiful and we will get a site there next time. Everything was well kept and people and staff were very friendly. We will come back again next summer.

We do try to open as early and close the pool as late in the season as reasonably possible. So glad we could make your stay more enjoyable!

This was a last minute booking and they accommodate without any issues 30 minutes before we arrive. They were ready for us even though they were closing the office in 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was a great one night stay and we would come back!

We stayed in a cabin which was very nice and clean. The activities were great and the kids loved the inflatable’s in the lake. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We rented a pontoon boat which was fun but the boat itself was pretty dirty. It had cobwebs everywhere. Seems for that price somebody could at least do a little basic cleaning. Otherwise it was a good stay. Would recommend.

This is the most clean and beautiful KOA We have ever stayed at. The whole campground has a nice vibe going on. Love the community events like Bingo and Chili Cook Offs

Campground is well kept however we stayed in the basic cabins and the beds are terrible. Everyone’s back hurt so bad even the young kids complained. Since KOA took over this campground the prices are sky high now on everything including the camp store, wood, golf cart rental, and fees to get in. I have always enjoyed camping at this campground for years but now can’t afford this place.

My husband and I stayed for 9 days this time, and we had a wonderful time. I know a couple of your seasonals that stay there, and I would like to give it a try for 2026 seasonals. earlier in the year we had our grandkids with us, and they also had a great. Thank you for having a wonderful camp.

Everything was great except the site has two monster Cement obstacles one of which we believe is the master clean out for the sewer. Constantly smelling waste all weekend.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. It was so peaceful, and there were so many things for our son to do. He absolutely enjoyed the swimming pool being open still. The staff were incredible, very helpful.

The pool stayed open this year until 9/15/25! but the nights dipping down to the 40's meant it was time to close it up.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Been coming here yearly since we started camping in 2020. Plus its only a hour from where we live. Yet a great escape from the real world. Staff are always kind and helpful. The lake front sites are the best

We were able to stay at our favorite site. (#305). If this would ever become a seasonal, we would rent it every year FOREVER!! Another great stay at this campground.

The "fish pond" is a massive disappointment. It's a green swamp. I'd be so disappointed if that's all we came for. It really needs an overhaul or strong water treatment.

With the lack of rainfall our fish pond is in need. It has a natural flow to it and without rain the flow stops, we have added significant aeration to help the pond along as well as several breeds of fish that enjoy algae. Thru the season campers dont always Release what they catch.

Mowing of lawns everyday was excessive and annoying.

We came in late but there was an employee still at the office...she was incredibly nice and helpful. Thank goodness because the KOA is tucked in back of a somewhat gated community ...and was almost 4 miles off of the the main highway (route 80). I would have been impossible to find a site if she had not been there! The campground is huge and very well groomed as were the individual sites.

First spot I was on wasn't suitable for a 30ft class c. Wifi didn't work on that spot at all. Second spot wifi worked sometimes. Way over priced. I've stayed at nicer places with full concrete pads for less money and cable and wifi.

We’ve been staying at KOA Hogback Lake for quite a few years started out renting cabins to now we camp in our camper same time every year celebrating our Anniversary there. We love it there, and have always been treated great, staff super friendly and love that our dogs are very welcome and a dog park is provided. Great pool and fun activities, thank you for a fantastic time. Be back next year

This was our 3rd stay at the campground. First time with any issues. We checked in at 830pm Friday. Saturday morning we woke up to bee’s and hornets around our site. Also noticed small bugs all over our outdoor things. After finding out they were a form of tick we notified grounds and they stated they knew about the issue. No resolve happened. Options they gave us were not plausible!

We appreciate your feedback, We spray for dozens of pests across the park thru the year both independently as well as with licensed contractors. The insect on your site was identified as a mite, Sometimes nature can get a little closer than campers appreciate. multiple resolutions were offered

The campground is nice enough, but the sites are very close together. We had a lake view site and there wasn’t much room on the site. The fire pit was also at a weird spot and we felt it was too close to the vehicles at times. The pool and lake were nice to have, but the pool area size wasn’t able to accommodate the demand the camp ground had for a busy holiday weekend.

The campground is beautiful. The service manager (Jerry) is disrespectful and the worst example of customer service I have ever seen. He frightened my grandkids and tried to charge guest fees for my daughter’s husband, even though they had 5 people in an 8-person cabin (2parents and 3 small children). Ruined the weekend for us.

Great KOA with clean facilities, friendly staff, and a well‑run campground. The only “problem” here isn't the campground — it's the handful of guests who think the rules don't apply to them.The staff does an excellent job keeping the park safe and enjoyable for everyone, and sometimes that means enforcing rules. Unfortunately, some people get upset when they're asked to follow them and leave one‑star reviews that don't reflect the actual experience. If you appreciate a campground that's organized, safe, and well‑maintained, this KOA is exactly what you want.
