I am giving low ratings because of the campsite we were given. It was 734 that SHOULD NOT be given to anyone. Had I known that would happen we would never reserved it. It's back along a fence with the mosquitoes and on an incline. I was afraid the camper would tip when putting it in. You call it a value spot, that is no value to anyone but you because of the fees you charge. We will Not be back.

We value your feedback, our value sites are spread out thru the park at at time of booking we communicate verbally as well as on your confirmation. At the time of your booking it was all we had available. We did offer to relocate you to another value site and as always offers a 1 hour site guarantee

Fishing pond was disgusting. Unable to fish, even though I stayed in a spot right next to it. No wifi or tv stations available. Was told this after I paid to stay.

The deluxe cabin was really nice. The master bedroom was awesome w/an AC unit & ceiling fan. The 2nd bedroom had nothing & was so hot. The ceiling is too low for a fan, but an AC unit would be really help. At the very least, a fan so you could leave the door open at night and blow cool air into that bedroom. Other than being rather pricey, it was a nice stay

Loved our stay! The only downside was everything was so expensive. We were a group of about 16 with 3 different cabins and ended up splitting the cost of a golf cart because it was going to be around $300 for a day and a half since we didn’t get to check in until 3 the first day.

Not good my dog got bitten by fire ants all over her head and made it very difficult for her to breathe left after one night stay and we were to stay all weekend told staff about my dog and they needed to spray that lot .

Employees aren’t very nice. The receptionist at the desk are rude. Makes for an unfriendly environment. We called in advance to rent a pontoon and the people on the phone told us we couldn’t rent it until the day of. We get there and they tell us that we have to rent in advance. Very deceiving. Our cabin was FULL of flies, as if they left the door open. Pool was dirty. Would not stay here agai

Lori in the office definitely needs some training on customer service. Her attitude and and impatience was projected to myself and several family members on 3 different days. After over 8 years of visits to Angola because of her unprofessional demeanor and attitude it will be our last. Dan in the office is the complete opposite, his friendly approach and knowledge of his job was shown in one visit

There is lots for kids and families to do pool lake and parks. We was able to entertain our selves during our stay. We was however disappointed in the lake inflatables what we seen advertised was not what was actually there. The inflatables was the reason we booked at this campground. Another thing is the lack of activities through the week not everyone camps on Friday and Saturday.

We had a great time and loved the lazy river. I expected inner tubes to be provided and it wasn’t clear until we got there that they weren’t. We happened to bring one with but the ones sold in the store were overpriced. If they were up front about it when booking it wouldn’t bother me. All other lazy rivers we’ve gone to have provided inner tubes.

From check in to check out I found nothing but excellent staff , site was ready, and staff assisted me with getting into a boat rental-- Site was very clean and kept up, I have stayed at this site many times and always found it to be an excellent place to visit.

Representatives at check in were less than friendly; they seem to question you & why you're here. Also, firepits are horrible. We just stayed at KOA Covert & they are great. You guys should get some learning from them

I’d give 5 stars if they had more activities for kids and store was open longer. 7:00 or 8:00 pm close Sunday thru Thursday 9:00 or 10:00 Friday Saturday

Really nice campground! Many many activities for the children to enjoy! Very well maintained and clean! Friendly staff! We stayed on a weekend so there many golf carts and kids which required diligence ! People appeared to obey the 5mph speed limit . Only complaint I have was a lot of loud music making it difficult to sleep. Wasn’t sure of when the designated quiet hours were.

The park itself is huge. Great if you have small kids, however the RV pads at least ours was un-level as it got not even remotely close to being level. the park itself was closed when I got there at 6 PM. It was dusty as well as just dirty everywhere. The public showers definitely need some love overall if you have small kids, there’s a ton of things for them to do. I wasn’t happy with it.

My second visit and one of my few repeat visits to a campground as we travel. I did enjoy the lazy river. Sites in front are tight. I’m glad my neighbor did not make a fire. Internet “is being worked on “. How many times have I heard that?

Our stay was nice..love the campground. Very disappointed there was no wifi. We had work to do and couldn't do it. Some compensation would have been nice.

I had a site on the lake. The site was very small and people kept walking through my campsite to get to the boat dock. We had no privacy whatsoever. And I even left a day early and none of the staff asked me why I was checking out a day early.

It was great! Lots of activities and things to do. My only complaint was all the golf cart traffic. It was nerve wrecking just letting my kids ride their bikes.

We really enjoyed the campground and it was nice and peaceful and relaxing with plenty of activities to keep the kids busy. However, Saturday it became extremely busy with every camp site booked, the lines and waits for activities became so long and crowded you could not do anything away from your campsite with out there being a ton of people. We could not even get in the pool, too many people!

At 10:30 pm on our first night we were asked to move our car from our camp sight so the incoming tent campers could have a fire. They then proceeded to put up 4 tents and all little details at 11 pm. There dog roamed around coming into our spot which was now not much space since having to move the vehicle. It was not a good first impression. We had booked a Friday to Sunday but left Sat. morning.

We stay right on the lake and love it. One of our favorite places. We always have a great service, beautiful area. There are alot of people that have permanent spots there and we know why.

We were thrilled to find out this KOA is open in January, as we were in a pinch needing a place to stay with hook ups. They were very friendly when we called for info. They had everything all set up and super easy to pick your spot and settle in. Very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely stay here again when we are in the area!

Our pipes in our cabin froze (in December) and the team went above and beyond to correct the issue for us! They did everything possible to correct it, and they were super professional and nice when I first reported it, and they got on it ASAP and offered a discount for our inconvenience without me having to ask or complain. When the issue couldn't be resolved in a timely manner, they gave us an upgrade in another cabin and comped our stay. The whole team was great and even though the situation sucked and inconvenienced us, they were obviously doing everything they could possibly do which included digging under the cabin, using heaters on the pipes, and a camera to diagnose the problem. This was our second stay here and we will absolutely be returning!

Great place to get away for the weekend from Chicago. The amenities are good for kids and I love that it's open year-round. My only small complaint is the golf cart traffic on the weekends during the summer.
