It was lovely to stay in a Kabin with my dogs that had a bathroom! I also loved the large open space where I could walk my dog along the trail and get exercise for all of us after a long drive.

Not enough space share entire trip. The 70+ year old of our group damaged a gate well after dark & did not call the after hours number which they sould of. Our cc was on file yet staff decided it was necessary to bang on their cabin well after 12. Could have been handled differently by staff. Water in cabin stunk. I was so looking forward to a warm bath or shower but that bathtub was disgusting. Everything else was very nice.

This KOA is always so well kept and groomed and the cabins are well taken care of the staff is always friendly and attentive and just always helpful. Highly recommend this KOA if you haven’t checked them out do it. You won’t be disappointed. Dan and Lisa are wonderful.

A super easy late November stay. We stayed here for a trip to a Notre Dame football game. We arrived late Friday and our welcome pack was waiting for us in the late arrivals mailbox. We had a very easy pull through site near the front with full hookups, which was helpful after dark. We will likely be staying here again in the future!

Beautiful November camping! The leaves were fantastic and the time was relaxing. We wanted to scope this place out for next summer camping and kayaking!

Had a really good stay!! Would have gave 5 stars, but on morning of check out the campgrounds well went out so couldnt use bathroom or shower etc.

We appreciate your review, the winter store knocked power out to thousands of homes across steuben county, half of our part was affected, it just happened to be the half that powered our well. Outtage lasted about 5 hours.

Awesome campground. Plenty of activities for the kids , adults and everyone in between. The Seasonal campers volunteer to organize and run events for other seasonal, and weekend campers, making it the perfect weekend getaway spot! The staff takes pride in their campground and is always adding new amenities and fun features to the park. All around great campground !

Iam a seasonal , the staff are wonderful! I help with the craft class on Saturday morn, I love the kids, my regular. Kids have had some for several years. Enjoy watching them grow up. Have met families from all over talk of there camping experiences.. Just a safe and happy place to camp.

It’s a great campground for families. Clean and well taken care of. Now that we are retired we are moving to a smaller and quieter campground. We enjoyed our 5 years at Angola. Thanks for everything!

We have a seasonal site on the lake. We enjoy the neighbors, activities, at the campground. It was a fun summer st Hogback. We will be back next spring. Hope the internet improves.

There is so much drinking and golf cart driving. Our daughters were almost hit on their bikes multiple times by drunk golf cart drivers over the summer. Kids run free, and some are super disrespectful. I’ve literally never been to such a poorly ran campground. We quit being seasonal campers in August even though we paid until November. We would rather lose our money than our children.

We have been seasonals for years, and have never had any issues at Angola KOA. We have teens, and its their favorite place to be.

We have spent the last three years as seasonal campers. I cannot say enough good things about this campground and the amazing staff. Great for kids and adults, plenty of activities for each. Clean and well maintained, great store for all your needs. The Fourth of July weekend and all the Halloween weekends are fantastic, to name a few specifically. Grateful for the memories. Thank you.

Poor communication skills. Seasonal campers pay $$$$ for the privilege of camping and having a golf cart and boat slip, yet they value the overnight “guests” who spend far less. Numerous Seasonals have said the preferential treatment goes to “guests”. The female manager is snarky, Dan is a bit easier to work with. We have visited numerous KOAs, but we won’t be back to this one, Too m

Camped Angola for 20 years. It used to be about the geeat outdoors. Since KOA purchased the campground, it has become too commercialized. It's is a nice campground but its not about camping...but about the all mighty dollar now. They rent mechanical bulls for hoe down weekend but can't fix drainage problems or keep the yards mowed. I will always love this campground....just not how expensive it is

Had problems with the rv had too take leave one day early not giving anything back or credit at minimum half never experienced that treatment with koa I’ve been too a lot of them

We had an amazing time at the Angola KOA! The Haunted Barn was a spooky highlight, a perfect mix of fun and fright for all ages, especially the chainsaw and stilt walker. Trick-or-treating around the campground was a blast, and the staff went above and beyond to make it safe and exciting for the kids. A truly family friendly atmosphere with so many activities. Can’t wait to come back next year

We stayed in a cabin over memorial weekend. Very impressed with all there was to do for the kids (even with crummy weather). Nice facilities!! our cabin was so spacious and VERY clean!! The activities were so fun. Everyone we ran into was so welcoming including all the staff!! We really appreciated feeling at home for the weekend! Definitely plan to be back to enjoy with warmer weather!! If you have kids/teenagers this place is a must!!!

We come here a couple times every year with family. Has a ton of stuff to do for kids, including lake with beach, lazy river and pool, jumping pads and a couple of playground, fishing peers etc. We love it here!

PROS: Looking for a great spot for kids to have a blast during the day? This is THE place. My son is almost nine and he loved the pool with lazy river, the activities (golf cart candy parade and tie dye) and just biking and hanging out with neighbor kids. There are so many wonderful choices for children and I value that! I found the bathrooms to be fairly clean for the amount of people camping on this weekend. CONS: The site we were given (733) was an actual nightmare to park our rig on. Backing in, even for someone skilled, was horrible. There were bricks in the road (to prevent water ponding) and it popped our tire. There was not a way around them backing into the site. We were not given an alternative site and that was infuriating. Do NOT choose site 733 if you want to start your weekend off peacefully. The lady at the front that checked us in even jokingly said “geez I hope you don't get stuck trying to get into that spot” but I had no clue what she meant until we saw the spot. What a shame. The second con is the noise. Many of the sites are seasonal and the guests have golf carts. It makes walking around, especially with littles on bikes, not only unnerving but downright dangerous. With that said, they cruise around, music blasted, until quiet hours which begin at 11pm. With an exhausted kiddo at 9pm, the noise can be a lot. It's too much truthfully. If you're hoping for a little bit of peace, you'll be sad here. If you love a good ruckus and have kids up super late-this is your dream spot. Again, don't choose site 733 though. You've been warned. 🙃
