It was our first time and we will definitely be back, we loved the pool and lazy river, bingo was fun, the pancake breakfast on Sunday was nice. Lots of events over the weekend that we enjoyed. We talked to a few seasonal campers and they were very nice.

Our stay was wonderful. Our lot was spacious with a breathtaking view of the lake. The only hung we found confusing was the lot number. We thought maybe an arrow under the lot number pointing towards the lot would have been helpful.

Stayed 8/24 and 9/3. ZERO Wi-Fi either date. Wi-Fi has been an ongoing issue for over 2 months now. Your IT vendor should be working on the issues 24x7. Wi-Fi is the main reason we selected your campground. Please give us a $15 credit for our inconvenience. On 9/3 for ONE night, we were put right by the road/noise and the furthest point from the showers while sites 220-230 sat empty.

My family rented a primitive site. Sites were close together and we ended up next to a large family that had a physical domestic issue occur and another who left their dogs alone in the tent most of the day. One dog escaped ended up in my tent. I placed the dog back into the correct tent and the dog began to attempt another escape. I made a complaint to the staff and got no resolution.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We had a site on the lake which was beautiful. We saw lots of birds. It was very quiet and peaceful. Everything was clean and well kept. The campground is huge with a wide variety of sites. We would definitely stay again.

Clean grounds, mowed well, location is great, outside food vendor, great 'idea', poorly executed, pool is epic fail. Was 3 times too small before completion. No space at all. Lake swimming is 3rd world & gross. Staff mostly friendly. Cable TV no longer offered, is super lame. Need to improve wifi signal strength. Seasonal campers were quite friendly

We had a great stay. However, we are super disappointed in how booking for next year was handled. We were told at arrival we had to wait until the end of our stay to book for next year. We then were met with our cabin already being booked by someone else. Have a policy and stick to it.

Really enjoyed our stay. Not sure why the mixed reviews. Staff was nice. Park was clean. SO much to do. It's big so it's busy. But did not affect our enjoyment.

We Enjoy our stay every year, my husband,I and 2 adult kids celebrate our anniversary there same time of course 7-8 days every yr. Love that you can reserve your spot that you want as we like to take our dogs with us and like to put up a portable fence so we need a larger site, so thank you for being very dog friendly.Only suggestion would be to have a better WiFi/ internet service,Mercury isGREAT

We liked our stay a lot. I can tell you a couple of things would make it way better. 1. Lower prices on golf cart rentals. $190 a day is double what I paid for the site itself. The 2nd biggest KOA in the country only charges $75 a day. 2. Activities for the kids. Tie-dye shirts, crafts or games or all the above. We’ve been to a few KOA’s that had full weekends of activities planned.

This is our 4th time here, and it's by far our favorite KOA. Highly recommend bringing/renting a golf cart as the property is very large.

The only thing that I have to complain about is how loud the band played until after 10:00 every night. We were in site 501 and right next to the activities pavilion and the music was nice but way too loud and lasted too late. I like to have a little down time before I go to sleep but wasn’t able to get that because all three nights they played the band until after 10:00 at night,

We had a great weekend! The only negative thing would be that we couldn’t use our fire pit because it was too close to our camper. The only way we could have fixed this was to pull the camper up to edge of lot and park next to it.

Love it here but it gets so crowded! The camp store also needs more snacks/beverages. Hope they can add another pool since the lazy river gets so busy!

Cute space and fun amenities. However, staff was not friendly. We were waiting outside the store before they opened and was not let it but as soon as a family came up they opened doors 5 mins early. Firewood delivery took almost 1 hour to get. Called the front desk staff to follow up and a lady said there is no guarantee of the time. Not coming back again.

Omg!! It was Labor Day weekend. If you don’t mind loads of people driving golf carts up and down the road at all hours of the night and kids screaming at 7am then this may be your place. The park was full. Spaces are tight. We only stayed one night.

Only one bathhouse is not enough. We camped by the pool. It was a long way to use the showers. The lake was kinda mucky. The cool zip line swing at the play structure by the lake did not work. The lazy river and pool were very nice. The website did not mention bring your own tube.

We had an amazing stay and there was so much to do! My children loved the cabin and being across from the pool. We enjoyed the playgrounds, taking walks though the campground, jumping on the bounce pillow and swimming! My Daughter spent hours each day swimming in the lazy river. We can't wait to return. The Staff were all very friendly, the cabin was kept up and all of the areas were very clean

No major issues. The site we were on was closest to the beach. The only issue was during busy times when people would cut through our campsite. The site could be sectioned off better to prevent this.

Very nice and clean property with great amenities! Pool and lake both spectacular! Golf cart is a great option to cruise from playground to playground. Fishing was fun too. We will return for sure. Think about maybe adding in a food/ice cream stand for late night treats, I think it would be a great addition!

We enjoy the activities of Hogback KOA. We enjoy the quite evenings and mornings. The KOA is well kept.

I stayed in Cabin 308 and there was no smoke detector, there was rodent feces right by the door, the toilet handle broke, and the toilet was covered in hair shavings and wasn’t cleaned. I notified the desk about the toilet cleanliness and the broken toilet handle. The staff at the desk didn’t seem to care.

We had a wonderful stay. I would like to acknowledge two young ladies at checkout. Lisa and Tiffany are to be commended in regards to their friendliness and service. Only thing I think could be done better is acknowledging this $20 service fee that we were not told about until check in. As well with check out at the same time, it is a cluster. The park into 3 check out at 10,11,12. Will be easier

We loved are little cabin that we stayed in. At first, we thought it maybe too small but it worked out just fine. The only thing that would stop us from returning would be the water! It stunk so bad. Just turning on the water to wash our hands or doing a few dishes smelled up the cabin!!! Also, the TV did not work because of the wi-fi. That would have been great if that had been working in p

I was able to come and meet our group a day early on Thursday for our cabin stay. I attempted to check in early and was told no. The cabin was not used at all Thursday or that night. On Friday I requested to be notified of when we could get In and was told have to wait for it to be cleaned. No one was at cabin and this was not the case. I then get text to extend the stay for discounted rate!

We were disappointed that our grill hardly worked and we had to cook our stove on the stove top and missed getting to see the DJ at the beach. We were also told that the fee for two dogs was $35. but was charged $50.

Very friendly. Due to unseen plans had to cut it a day short do to my job. Found they refunded me day rental on golf cart and lot. Was not expecting that with it not nor expect it. Definitely be back in 2025

We stayed in a cabin over memorial weekend. Very impressed with all there was to do for the kids (even with crummy weather). Nice facilities!! our cabin was so spacious and VERY clean!! The activities were so fun. Everyone we ran into was so welcoming including all the staff!! We really appreciated feeling at home for the weekend! Definitely plan to be back to enjoy with warmer weather!! If you have kids/teenagers this place is a must!!!

We come here a couple times every year with family. Has a ton of stuff to do for kids, including lake with beach, lazy river and pool, jumping pads and a couple of playground, fishing peers etc. We love it here!

PROS: Looking for a great spot for kids to have a blast during the day? This is THE place. My son is almost nine and he loved the pool with lazy river, the activities (golf cart candy parade and tie dye) and just biking and hanging out with neighbor kids. There are so many wonderful choices for children and I value that! I found the bathrooms to be fairly clean for the amount of people camping on this weekend. CONS: The site we were given (733) was an actual nightmare to park our rig on. Backing in, even for someone skilled, was horrible. There were bricks in the road (to prevent water ponding) and it popped our tire. There was not a way around them backing into the site. We were not given an alternative site and that was infuriating. Do NOT choose site 733 if you want to start your weekend off peacefully. The lady at the front that checked us in even jokingly said “geez I hope you don't get stuck trying to get into that spot” but I had no clue what she meant until we saw the spot. What a shame. The second con is the noise. Many of the sites are seasonal and the guests have golf carts. It makes walking around, especially with littles on bikes, not only unnerving but downright dangerous. With that said, they cruise around, music blasted, until quiet hours which begin at 11pm. With an exhausted kiddo at 9pm, the noise can be a lot. It's too much truthfully. If you're hoping for a little bit of peace, you'll be sad here. If you love a good ruckus and have kids up super late-this is your dream spot. Again, don't choose site 733 though. You've been warned. 🙃
