We enjoyed the campground but staff that checked us in was very rude. I rented 2 cabins and 2 tents site for two nights and this seemed to be more than they wanted to deal with. They told us our cabins weren’t ready and I requested to use the tent sites until the cabins were ready. The staff never entered th cabins and after 2 hours we were finally got the keys. I felt like I was a inconvenien

Very nice campground but pricing youselfs out of stays. Had our grandson for dinner on friday evening coming fron Trine University and charged $10 to come in foe 2 hours. A bit much. Maybe there should be a senior discount . A rough stay this time

Sites along the lake are WAYYYYY too close together. Tending to the backside storage of our camper getting set up had us right on top of the neighbors picnic table and firepit. Lots of seasonal guests make for a annoying nightly golf cart parade...some with loudish music and lights. Lovely environment with the lake.

The best place with really nice helpful staff! There were not many of us “overnighters” yet they didn’t cram us in like some places do! Told my son to bring his family and rent one of the cabins when he is out this way!

Was only there one night, was nice that they had close to the entrance and exit spots great for overnight stays. We had spot 104 was a little tight but again made for in and out stays.

Conveniently located. Good overnight area with level gravel pull through. Very nice staff and town is interesting.

Came in late. Our paperwork was in after hours box but our key card didn’t work. So we couldn’t get to our site spent the night in overflow sites. Went to office next morning was told key card was good that my truck caused all the problems. The truck was not the problem. No apologies about. Nor discount for all the trouble. She made a new card and it worked fine. She blamed the problem on us.

We were just overnighting this time but would love to come back one day to enjoy all the amenities. It’s a very large KOA with a convenient up front section for short stays. The store was lovely and had a great variety of camping decor and supplies. Wished it had been summer so we could have tried out the lovely pool area and lazy river! And there is a lake in the back.

There needs to be more shower and bathroom areas. Also recycling is needed for plastic and cardboard. Unless the state has a different way to recycle. A very nice camp ground.

The pool and lazy river was great. The bathrooms were clean. The lake was very mucky and a lot of algae, so we didn't swim. The camp site was horrible! We camped in a non electric tent site and I've never had a worse site. They shouldn't even have them available. The whole site is on a hill. Not ideal for a tent or anything for that matter. Would not tent camp here again.

I wish the primitive sites were leveled better. They were on a slope that made it hard to get a level spot for our tent

Very disappointing requested a site away from the noise called two days ahead of time to confirm and then it put us a site or away from the road with minimum buffer to all we heard all night this truck noise. Guess we move our family reunion to another campground because the trial run here did not work. To top it off the lady when I called kinda laughed, and the lady check in just gave us a smirky

The camp ground was clean and well maintained. Although we are self contained we prefer to use the campground's bath house and toilets. For my wife to walk to the shower house from our camp site was a no go! Therefore if there was a shower facility and toilets available in the area where we were located, everything would have been great.

The 30 amp plug in and the 20 plug in kept tripping immediately. Luckily we had a 50 amp adapter so that we could have power

We stayed in a deluxe cabin #901, on the lake, tucked away. It was very private, cozy. Hot water was great when needed for showers. Nice campground for walking and bike riding, golf carts didn't bother us at all. Fire pit and patio furniture is really nice. It was a great spot to stay while exploring Shipshewana and the surrounding towns.

We stay at cabin #304. The me meant we went in the cabin we were greeted with a foul sewer-like smell that is coming from the bathroom. We couldn’t sleep. I had to buy an odor eliminator at the near by travel plaza at around 430 am. The thought to be a relaxing weekend turned into a nightmare. The courts (pickle ball and basketball) were trash. Our driveway had a much smoother .

Beautiful campground. Very clean and well maintained. Large pull-through sites. Very expensive for northern Indiana. Our resort in Florida is only $54/night for a brick paved full hook-up site, hot tub, pool, and all kinds of activities. Love your campground but had to tell the grandkids we can't afford to stay there anymore.

We stayed in a cabin over memorial weekend. Very impressed with all there was to do for the kids (even with crummy weather). Nice facilities!! our cabin was so spacious and VERY clean!! The activities were so fun. Everyone we ran into was so welcoming including all the staff!! We really appreciated feeling at home for the weekend! Definitely plan to be back to enjoy with warmer weather!! If you have kids/teenagers this place is a must!!!

We come here a couple times every year with family. Has a ton of stuff to do for kids, including lake with beach, lazy river and pool, jumping pads and a couple of playground, fishing peers etc. We love it here!

PROS: Looking for a great spot for kids to have a blast during the day? This is THE place. My son is almost nine and he loved the pool with lazy river, the activities (golf cart candy parade and tie dye) and just biking and hanging out with neighbor kids. There are so many wonderful choices for children and I value that! I found the bathrooms to be fairly clean for the amount of people camping on this weekend. CONS: The site we were given (733) was an actual nightmare to park our rig on. Backing in, even for someone skilled, was horrible. There were bricks in the road (to prevent water ponding) and it popped our tire. There was not a way around them backing into the site. We were not given an alternative site and that was infuriating. Do NOT choose site 733 if you want to start your weekend off peacefully. The lady at the front that checked us in even jokingly said “geez I hope you don't get stuck trying to get into that spot” but I had no clue what she meant until we saw the spot. What a shame. The second con is the noise. Many of the sites are seasonal and the guests have golf carts. It makes walking around, especially with littles on bikes, not only unnerving but downright dangerous. With that said, they cruise around, music blasted, until quiet hours which begin at 11pm. With an exhausted kiddo at 9pm, the noise can be a lot. It's too much truthfully. If you're hoping for a little bit of peace, you'll be sad here. If you love a good ruckus and have kids up super late-this is your dream spot. Again, don't choose site 733 though. You've been warned. 🙃
