We made reservations in OCT 2022 we paid in full. They have had our month up to 5-31-23. They went up $6.00 per day when we pulled in. We don't think they should have changed us the extra money since we had paid in full before they went up. It was an in and out only. We paid extra to get a patio site since it was the only one we could stay hooked up to our truck for an easy in and out.

Camp layout & staff were wonderful. Pool was clean & refreshing. Our pull-thru site came with a deck, swing/glider, grille & nice dining table. We had a semi-shady spot. Nice spot for a sign on for our puos. Neighbors were nice. KOA was perfectly located near stores, the massive lake and other activities. We stayed a week & will certainly be back.

Very pleased with acommodations. Staff personnel very professional and courteous. Took us to our site and ensured we were able to set up. Easy in and out. Thank you for everything.

Really nice sites! Wood fences around patio area at the sites add to the sense of privacy and homey-ness. Nice folks in the store let us buy ice cream a bit after closing. Lots of fun things to do if you stay longer. Just a great KOA all around!

Great location near I85. Friendly staff. Chris, Cathy, Fern, Steve and Louie were so personal and helpful. Very quiet and peaceful. Pool crystal clear and area kept neat. Cool mini golf and walking trail around the KOA. Sites are spacious and updated . Be sure to mention 50 amp or 30 amp when you reserve. Highly recommend. Thanks again for a great Memorial Day Stay!!

This is a super clean and well maintained campground. The office staff is super friendly. I also love the guide taking us to our site. This KOA Asheville East is great for families or couples! We are staying a week and although it was busy it was very quiet in the evenings. Easy to drive in and around and plenty of space. Lots of places to take a picnic even by the river.

Great park with great staff and lots of trees and shade. Loved the pull through site we had with a patio, swing, table and chars and a grill. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

It is a very shaded, smaller campground. The weather was too cold and rainy to check out the pool and putt putt golf. It does appear that there are quite a few long term or permanent campers. The roads could use some stone. Some sites are close, some are roomy. We enjoyed our stay. Love the shade! The short road coming in off of I-85 is in need of repaving. Go slow. May 2023.

Very friendly hosts! Cleanest bathrooms we have ever seen in a campground. Lovely shaded lots and a nice path through the woods. We will be returning!

We had a handicap visitor. We parked in our camping parking spot next to our car to allow this person access to a bench on the patio. One of the campground Two employees came by separately and berated us for having 2 cars at the site, even though the road was not blocked and presented no issues. It was like they were on a power trip. Obviously this campground discriminated against handicaped peopl

Beautiful setting, shady and quiet. The staff and hosts are phenomenal. I’d rate it a 6 if they’d let me. Going back for a week in 6 weeks. Thanks for a great stay!

Fern and Steve were great hosts and made sure our stay way great. They even went the extra mile (literally) to bring my son some PEZ candy refills. Not only would I recommend staying, we are already planning our next trip there.

Easy to get into and out of just off the interstate. If you stayed here in the 70s 80s 90s early 2000s you still get that nostalgic feeling at this location very friendly and helpful host will greet you at this location. I could not find any handicap facilities, but it did look like there was a new site being prepared, hopefully the next time we stay, it will be finished.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was a pleasure to stay in the park , very peaceful under a lot of beautiful trees. It’s a rustic older location and well maintained. We will certainly stay there again.

Some of the friendliest hosts one could want. Provided plenty of info of the SC area to include the Great NC falls. Laundry costs seemed a little expensive but one large load can be done in cold water for $3.75. Nice hot showers and clean restrooms.

Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Any concerns were addressed immediately and with a smile! Facilities were very clean. Would recommend it here and we’d come stay again.

Nice pull through sites with full hook ups in a rustic shady treed plots. They have a dog park, kids play area, game room, miniature golf, pool, laundry room, shower area and a full service store. Conveniently located a mile off of Interstate 85. The owners and staff are all so nice, friendly and so helpful. We had such a great three month stay and look forward to returning next year.

Great location. Proximity to the lake and lots of other things to do in the area. Sites are a nice size and lots of trees surrounding the campground and within the park for shade.

Very nice hosts. The RV park is in need of lots of work. Sites are not level, roads are narrow, lots of temporary fixes on power boxes, cable hookups, sewer and water hookups.

The staff at this KOA is super helpful and friendly. The sites are all shaded and I felt like I was really camping - not just stuck in a row of other motor homes. The campground is close to shopping, but far enough from the freeway so that it is very quiet.

A beautiful campground that is well maintained. You feel like you are in the forest. Lots of full things to do. The staff is so friendly and quickly responds to any request. They have a nice camp store. We walked to The Galley on Lake Hartwell for supper. Will stay again.

I was disappointed to find out the campground was not on the lake. We were looking forward to relaxing and fishing. The people were really nice. The entire area was very outdated. The amenities were not close to any KOA that we have ever been to before. I would not recommend this place for any families due to lack of things to do with children. Absolutely nothing to do within walking distance.

Campground could use some upkeep and a refresh. Site was unlevel. Traffic noise is very loud (which could be improved with privacy fences). First private campground we've stayed at that did not have trash pickup. Sidenote; the staff was VERY friendly.

We didn't stay at the campground but came to swim in the pool. Its $5 per person, cash only Monday-Friday if you do not have a reservation. The kids enjoyed the playground, jumping pad and pool. The bathrooms are super clean and they are super friendly.
