I stayed in a tent spot for 4 nights in April 2025. They have them nicely spaced out. Easy access to the bathrooms and they were very clean. I enjoyed my stay. Good location for all activities. Just be aware there are trains that run during the night and honk their horns. After a while, I got used to that.

Tremendous stay. The tent sites are amazingly large. Everyone was gracious and the laundry room and showers were immaculate.

Picked this KOA because of its location. It’s a quick drive to White Sands National Park, and an even quicker drive to some nice hiking trails in Lincoln National Forest. The tent sites are nice and level. They have nice clean bathrooms and showers. The staff is helpful and extremely friendly.

The staff was very friendly and well informed. The facilities were clean and accessible. Location was so close to White Sands Nat’l park while having the amenities of a town nearby.

Absolutely perfect! I needed a place to rest for the night last minute and staff was very accommodating and helpful, and basically saved me.

Very well managed and well maintained. Every staff member I encountered was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was good. Would definitely stay here again.

Location of campground allowed easy access to the city. The tent site was good sized and located near the restroom and main office. The facilities were clean and accessible. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable.

Great, well maintained campground. We had to find something in a pinch. It was a great stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. Friendly staff. Had everything ready even with us arriving late. Thank you again.

We stayed at Alamogordo twice. First time was Fourth of July and second time mid August. My family went on a 5 week long road tri road trip and stayed at KOA's along the way. This was one of our most favourite stops. They have a nice size pool, the tent lots were gravel, big and very well taken care of. This one has the cleanest restrooms. The staff is super friendly, welcoming and accommodating.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. They were always attentive of guests. KOA’s location is conveniently close to retail stores and farmer’s market. KOA was very well maintained by all staff. Definitely staying there again!!!

While the camp hosts are nice and so is the staff, the facilities are in need of repair and updates. There is broken concrete throughout the campground and and the sites are small and make it difficult for an RV with slides to fit in the spaces. Would like to see more go back into improving the campground.

The place is well kept and have all the amenities I needed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area in the future.

Sorry you had to drive around a water repair that just happen to be in our driveway. As for our pool it has to be inspected every year and we are currently waiting for the state to come by and inspect it.

The gravel in the tent sight was uncomfortable. I would suggest sod or at least a thicker layer of pea gravel.

The campground was clean, quiet and close to all local businesses. The staff here are friendly and helpful. All in all, my stay here made my trip to the National Park a very enjoyable experience.

I would have given a five except it is right by train tracks and they are pretty loud all night. But the amenities were great--showers, laundry, camp store, etc...and the people were friendly and fabulous.

Last minute reservation, and didn't get into camp until after hours, so didn't meet any staff, but called earlier and they let us know where to find out reservation info when we did arrive. Tent pad was super huge, used pea gravel, and had a concrete picnic table. Also had a pole with lights you could turn on/off, which made setup in the dark super easy. Bathrooms were clean, no issues with them.

Cute little RV park. Cute curb side potty spot when you arrive. Good and quiet until the train comes by. Good sized level spaces. Clean restrooms with nice showers. Friendly staff will lead you to your space Great fenced dog park. Wood chips instead of rocks or grass. Nice shade tree benches and water for you dogs.

Nice place to Stop, Rest and Visit. The Staff here are So Very Nice, guiding us to our campsite, then offering popcorn in the afternoon plus coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the morning. Clean with great amenities, large laundry area, pool and nice dog park. It is located close to White Sands & Cloudcroft.

Easily my very favorite KOA out of the many I've stayed at and worked at! Many folks don't want to leave after they experience the warm welcome, helpful recommendations for places to visit and the friendly and relaxed atmosphere here. Every staff member does whatever they can to make your stay the best! Arrive as guests, depart as friends and family. Simply wonderful!
