I would have given a five except it is right by train tracks and they are pretty loud all night. But the amenities were great--showers, laundry, camp store, etc...and the people were friendly and fabulous.

Last minute reservation, and didn't get into camp until after hours, so didn't meet any staff, but called earlier and they let us know where to find out reservation info when we did arrive. Tent pad was super huge, used pea gravel, and had a concrete picnic table. Also had a pole with lights you could turn on/off, which made setup in the dark super easy. Bathrooms were clean, no issues with them.

It was great! Very clean, convenient location. I will say it backs up to a trailer park and there was a very loud domestic dispute from 9pm-11pm. Not the KOA’s fault though. In an RV or cabin, may not have been bad but I was tent camping so it was very loud and kept me up. Otherwise great stay! Clean facilities and nice little site to walk around.

Stayed at a tent site. Huge space. Great deal and clean restrooms. Close to White Sands. Friendly staff. Would say again.

Wonderful staff, good location, many great amenities like really hot showers. a full laundry and electricity at tent sites. I kept extending my stay and will return when in the area.

Wonderful time here. Very clean and staff were amazing! We enjoyed the game room and the rest of the facility! The restrooms/showers were super clean!

The staff went above and beyond. They not only answered all our questions but they check in on us at the campsite, talked with our kids and loved on our puppy. The facility was very clean and lots to do for all members of the family. We will definitely be coming back.

We arrived late to find an envelope and very cordial letter waiting for us. The assigned site was easy to locate, very clean. Bathroom and showers were easily located and very clean. Thank you for a lovely visit.

Probably the best KOA we have stayed at in 15 years. As tent campers it is so nice that this Campground has proper facilities for tents with excellent wiif on the site too. Too many times tents are left on a piece of spare land but not here. Purpose built tent area . Spotlessly clean and nice staff too. Highly recommend. Would have liked to have stayed longer.

Perfect place to stay to visit White Sand NP. THe campground is not to big or to small and the pool is really great after a few hours hiking in the sand!!!

Beautiful surroundings, excellent accommodations, clean, and extremely friendly staff. The sled loans for white sands national park were a bonus. Highly recommend staying here.

Super location, nice staff, calm, plenty of things to do for the kids, nice sites for campers, nice pool. Our kids loved the karts! We loved staying in this camping !

The staff was friendly and helpful! One of the ladies assisted my children in tie dying a souvenir bandanna, using sharpie markers and rubbing alcohol, while I packed up the camp site! This meant a lot for me because I have 3 children, a 13 year old, 7 year old and 3 year old, so having them entertained, making positive memories while I broke down site was a big help!

The tent site was very spacious and camp staff were so friendly! The only feedback is that the dump station is too close to the tent sites and you can smell it pretty distinctly.

Liked the recreational facilities. Suggest you get some proper, functional charcoal grills for the tent sites. Water pressure could have been better. Helpful cheerful staff

This was our first experience tent camping as a family, and we LOVED this KOA!!!!! The staff were so welcoming and helpful, the camp store was stocked well, the laundry facilities were perfect, bathrooms spotless, pool & playground were so fun! And we all had so much fun playing foosball and ping pong during the hottest part of the day after sledding (with the sleds provided by the campground)!!

Positives. Great owners/hosts, efficient check in, excellent facilities (good and clean toilets/showers). I had a tent site - large, with shade, table, fire pit, level/clean with trash cans close by and night lights. Excellent proximity to town and White Sands and other natural beauty in the area. Negatives. As it's situated in a busy town you get city noise. I will stay again!

Great campsite with tent and RV camping options. Has all of the amenities you could need, very clean, and friendly staff. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cheap, quality campsite while traveling in the area.

The KOA from start to finish was amazing. My group arrived on13 May and we were greeted by a staff that was so friendly it was almost as if we had met before. Throughout the week some of the staff would stop by and chat to see how our stay was going and if we’re having any luck hunting. The tent site we stayed in was very spacious. Entire KOA was very clean and quiet.

no one can do anything about the noise on White Sands, but that's literally my only complaint. the other patrons were quiet and respectful, and the hosts were nice, polite folk. when i had some issues crop up, they were able to rearrange my stay so i could do other things without conflict. i don't often get that far from home, but WS is my go-to. well done, they are a credit to the KOA brand.

The environment was comfortable and friendly. Grounds were well cared for. There was ample lighting and electrical and water sources.

This place was great! Safe, friendly. Nice private dividing walls. The kids played on the playground and also the pedal cars. Bathrooms were clean. All staff was friendly. It was away from the main road so not alot of road nose. Except for an occasional train tooting it's horn. We loved this place and we'll be coming back when visiting white Sands. Thank you!
