The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The free popcorn was great. The store had a nice variety of different gifts. We utilized the food delivery service recommended by the staff and enjoyed fresh salads delivered to our motorhome.

This KOA is one of the nicest we have stayed at. The staff was friendly and helpful and the facility was well maintained. Great location and close to White Sands and other amenities

The koA is very nice and people really great! Mark and Janet (I believe that is her name - at the front desk) were amazing and made us feel very welcome, like family.

Good location, level, well cared for with improvements being made. A few issues like an extra $5 for a fire ring and cable tv on one side of the park but not the other.

This is a great KOA. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the grounds to the bathrooms are kept very clean. This has been our favorite KOA that we have stayed at. Highly recommend it.

Danielle at check in was so helpful and friendly. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. Just a couple of recommendations...the benches at the dog park need to be powerwashed due to all the bird poop. And is there any thing that can be done with the water pressure in the showers? Both men and womens were at a trickle and I was the only person in the bathroom at the time.

Nice quiet, clean RV park with level spaces. Located in town but a block off the main drive. Convenient to White Sands National Park. I rate this park above your average KOA. Wide drives, decent spacing between sites, lots of amenities close by.

Lovely park & staff, but we wish full hookup mechanisms were better thought out. Clean water source too close & too low to sewage hookup. We didn't hookup or water here for that reason. But staff were superb

The KOA staff is wonderful, especially Ellen at the front desk. She was always warm, welcoming, and ready to help. I had heard about sledding in White Sands, but didn’t come prepared. This facility allows you to borrow a sled at no charge! That’s what I call going the extra mile and then another mile and then another mile…. Thank you for a wonderful camping experience.

Staff greeting was excellent. We were led to our site and given additional information. Although there are train tracks nearby, it was easy to ignore. Site was clean and spacious with a nice patio/fire area. Rest rooms were clean and great pressure/hot water in the showers. Although we were only traveling through, we would stay there on a future trip to tour White Sands National Monument, etc.

My time in Alamogordo is something I look forward to. It's become an important part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. Owners Kelly and Sandy have committed to creating a culture and atmosphere that is friendly and family oriented and the amount of return visits by campers is evidence of their effectiveness. I have been to over 50 KOAs, and Alamogordo is the best. I love it here.

Well kept KOA. North of the White Sands NP. Got fresh popcorn upon arrival. Beautiful office.

Very spacious site E6. Privacy fences. Close to White Sands NP. Stayed here mid-Feb 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #E6 General: Nice store and grounds. Easy access. Well-maintained with updated facilities. Staff: Staff is great! Owners are caring and polite. Sites: Spacious gravel sites with some privacy from fences. Large rock gravel. Campground Road: Gravel road. Campground WiFi: Could not always connect to campground WiFi Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. Bathrooms/Showers: Women's showers were really nice—newly renovated! Private locked rooms. The men's showers were old and a bit smelly/dirty. Stall-style showers with a locking door to the stall. Laundry: Really nice newly renovated facility and the machines worked very well. Dried and washed well. Location: Gas, groceries, and restaurants all within 5-10 min. 20 min from White Sands NP. Near highway: No. You do turn off of the main road (route, not an interstate) and go back a few blocks so minimal road noise. Near train: Yes. Train is close but not immediately connected to the KOA. Cell using booster: AT&T (2 of 4 bars —4G) and Verizon (3 of 4 bars sometimes 4 bars—4G) worked well enough. Worked on VPN just fine and have Zoom meetings. Small moments of lag when using AT&T. Could stream as well on both networks.
