Savory s’mores are a great appetizer for entertaining. Just gather your favorite cheeses, crackers, meats and garnishes and guests can cook their own!
Savory S’mores Charcuterie Board
Ingredients
- 3-5 types of crackers: water crackers, wheat crackers, fig crackers, etc.
- 3-5 types of cheese: brie, smoked cheddar, mozzarella, gruyere or swill, Gouda, Manchego, Havarti, Boursin, etc.
- 2-3 types of cooked meats: smoked sausage, summer sausage, black forest ham, prosciutto, pepperoni, cooked bacon, etc.
- Condiments: mustard, honey and/or jam
- Nuts: almonds, pecans or mixed nuts
- Fresh fruit: apples, pears, grapes, peaches
- Garnishes: olives, pickles, pickled jalapenos, etc.
- Fresh herbs: rosemary, basil, thyme
- Metal skewers
Directions
- Cut all cheese and meat into bite-sized pieces.
- Arrange all ingredients on a wooden cutting board or tray.
- Gather around the fire and thread meats and cheeses on skewers and cook until melty, 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish, sandwich between crackers and enjoy!
