Military Discount
Many of our KOA campgrounds offer a military discount to honor and thank those currently serving or veterans. The period for the discount differs based on each campground’s specific camping season and regulations. Some may offer the military discount year-round, while others may offer it from April to October because that is the time the campground is open during the year.
The discount rate also differs between campgrounds. Some offer a 10% discount, while others offer a 20% discount on daily rates. If you are a veteran or active duty military personnel, enjoy your off-time with a KOA military discount.
KOA Rewards
If you become a KOA Rewards camper, you can get 10% off daily registration rates at KOA campgrounds across the United States and Canada. KOA Rewards also allows you to earn points toward further discounts, helping you save costs on future camping stays. During the year, many KOA campgrounds participate in hosting a KOA Rewards Appreciation Weekend in September. The Appreciation Weekend is a way for participating campgrounds to say “thank you” to loyal KOA Rewards guests by giving them a free night of camping.
Plus, as a KOA Rewards holder, you can take advantage of deals and discounts from KOA partners. For example, KOA teamed up with Goodyear. KOA campers can get 10% off their tire purchases, and KOA Rewards members can get an additional 5% off on top of the existing discount when they purchase Goodyear tires.
KOA Rewards is a great way for you to save on daily campground rates, regardless of the KOA campground you visit. This discount is available at each and every KOA.
First Responder
Some KOA campgrounds also offer a discount for first responders. The work first responders do to keep people safe every day is critical, and our campgrounds like to honor their dedication and service by providing 10% discounts on daily rates for them. The discount is for firefighters, police, emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and other first responders.
Discounts Not Offered at KOA
While KOA campgrounds offer various discounts, there are some programs that most do not offer a discount for, including:
- AAA
- AARP
- Good Sam
