A delicious holiday twist on Christmas saltine toffee, these s’mores are next level!
Holiday Toffee S’mores
Ingredients:
- 12-14 graham cracker sheets
- ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Marshmallows
- Peppermint bark, milk and dark chocolate squares
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a 13X9 sheet pan or baking pan with parchment paper. Break each graham cracker in half and place evenly across bottom of pan.
2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar and bring mixture to a simmer. Cook at a low boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves and mixture is smooth and darkens slightly.
3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, then spread evenly over graham crackers.
4. Bake for 6 minutes in preheated oven.
5. Remove from oven, sprinkle with flaky sea salt and let cool slightly. Cut through toffee around each graham cracker square.
6. Cool completely and place in an airtight container until you get to camp.
7. At camp, make s’mores using the toffee grahams, roasted marshmallows and chocolate squares.
