Grilled Turkey Cranberry Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh rosemary
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- salt and pepper
- 8 half-inch-thick slices rustic sourdough bread
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 12-16 slices leftover turkey
- ½ – ¾ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 4 ounces brie cheese, sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Clean and oil grill grates and preheat grill to medium heat, 350 degrees.
- Combine rosemary and mayo in a small bowl.
- Spread one side of each piece of bread with butter.
- Layer un-buttered side with ¼ of the turkey, cranberry sauce, and cheeses.
- Place on the grill.
- Spread un-buttered side of another piece of bread with rosemary mayo and place, mayo side down, on top of the sandwich on the grill.
- Repeat with remaining three sandwich ingredients.
- Close grill lid and cook for 3-4 minutes, checking occasionally to make sure bread isn’t burning.
- Flip sandwiches, close grill and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is toasty.
