Grilled Peaches & Pound Cake

3 peaches, halved & pitted
2 Tbsp. maple syrup
6 slices frozen pound cake, thawed
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
vanilla ice cream, to serve, optional

Brush each peach half with maple syrup and place on buttered or oiled grill. Brush pound cake slices with melted butter and add to grill. Grill peaches until lightly caramelized. Grill pound cake until golden brown and toasted on each side. Remove from grill, slice peaches and serve with toasted pound cake and a scoop of ice cream. Serves 6.
