Crispy sugared crust, cheesecake filling and fresh fruit come together in this easy, showstopper camp dessert!
Grilled Dessert Pizza
Ingredients
- 2 (8-9 inch) pre-made pizza crusts
- 4 tbsp softened butter, divided
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 (8oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Fresh berries – sliced strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.
- Hot honey, for drizzling
- Chocolate sauce, for drizzling
- Fresh mint, for garnish
Directions
1. Preheat grill to medium high.
2. Place 2 tablespoons of butter in a heat-proof pan and heat until melted.
3. Brush one side of each crust with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
4. Place crusts, sugar-side down, on the grill and cook until sugar caramelizes, 2-4 minutes.
5. Flip and cook the other side until desired crispness. 6. Combine cream cheese and butter in a bowl and whisk or beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and lemon zest. Slowly beat in powdered sugar until combined.
7. Spread a layer of cream cheese mixture on each crust. (You may have leftovers which are perfect as a dip for fresh fruit.)
8. Top with fresh fruit and drizzle with honey or chocolate syrup and garnish with mint!
