Fun for kids to make, these banana boats are an easy-peasy grilled dessert! Make your banana s’mores, fluffernutter, toffee & chocolate, or whatever combo you can dream of!
Ingredients
- Bananas
Topping ideas
- Chocolate chips
- Peanut butter chips
- Toffee chips
- Mini marshmallows
- Graham cereal
- Honey & oats cereal
Directions
1. Preheat grill to medium high
2. Slice each banana lengthwise (don’t peel!)
3. Place chips of choice and mini marshmallows inside the slit, packing well.
4. Wrap in a piece of heavy duty aluminum foil.
5. Place on grill, cover, and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until bananas are warmed and chips and marshmallows have melted.
6. Carefully unwrap and top with cereal for added crunch.
7. Dig in!
