Easy Crock-Pot BBQ Ribs

Easy to make and imparting big flavor, crock-pot recipes make a great addition to your camping recipe box. While you might not think to bring a slow cooker on your camping adventures, these kitchen work horses are perfect for delicious dinners that mean spending less time cooking and more time having fun at your favorite KOA.

This recipe offers a simple, delicious way to make BBQ ribs. Perfect for fall camping, tailgates and potlucks, this rib recipe creates big flavor and big time savings.

Easy Crock-Pot BBQ Ribs

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs of ribs of choice
  • 1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp oregano

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix sauces, vinegar and seasonings.
  2. Place ribs in slow cooker then add sauce and turn to coat well.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender.

Extra Tip: Our chef behind-the-scenes suggests finishing the ribs on the grill or in the oven if available. Five to ten minutes of additional cooking after removing from the crock-pot will caramelize the ribs and impart even more barbecue flavor.
