Chocolate Fondue

3/4 cup heavy cream
1 tsp. instant espresso powder, optional
10 ounces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
strawberries, bananas, pineapple, pound cake, marshmallows, pretzels, etc.

Bring heavy cream and espresso powder to a simmer over medium heat. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Let sit for 5 minutes then stir until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Place in fondue pot or crock pot set on low. Dip away!  Makes about 1 ½ cups fondue. Recipe may be doubled.
