Bacon Wrapped Pretzels
Ingredients
- 1 (12-ounce) package thin-cut bacon
- 1 (12-ounce) pkg pretzel rods
- 1 cup light or dark brown sugar 1
- tsp cayenne pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp flaky sea salt, optional
- Ranch dressing or honey mustard, for serving, if desired
Directions
- Preheat grill to medium-high. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a cooling rack on top of the baking sheet.
- Combine brown sugar, cayenne and salt in a wide-bottomed bowl.
- Dredge a piece of bacon in brown sugar mixture, using hands to press brown sugar into bacon.
- Wrap bacon around pretzel stick (cutting oQ any excess).
- Repeat process with remaining ingredients. You may have leftover pretzel rods.
- Place bacon wrapped pretzels on prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with any remaining brown sugar mixture.
- Place on grill, cover and cook for 10-15 minutes, checking occasionally, until bacon is done.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes to allow bacon to crisp up.
- Serve with ranch dressing, if desired.
