Meet Your Hosts

Ralph and Pam Huff don't mind waking up to the roar of the lions. In fact, it sure beats an alarm clock.

The managers of the Lion Country KOA say they love the sounds coming from the animal preserve that is part of the lion country safari next to the KOA. After 30 years of managing three different KOA campgrounds, the Huffs have become experts in the field.

Pam called their campground "a five-star campground" and expresses great pride for the tremendous staff at the KOA. "We really treat our customers well," she said.

She and Ralph were attracted to the KOA business because of the opportunities to meet people and help people. They also enjoy the business interactions they have at their campground.

Their two children have been raised around the campgrounds. "We love this business because it is about families, and KOA is so family-oriented," Pam said.
