Open All Year

Hey . . . A New KOA is Here!

While we are a new KOA, we are not new to KOA! This is our third one. Come see how we grow. We are centrally located to all that the Orlando area has to offer. Shopping, dining, antiquing, crafts and oh, of course, all the Disney attractions and water parks galore. Trying to get away from that cold, snowy Northern Winter? C'mon down . . . we love snowbirds. This area is a bounty of things to do and new friends to meet!

Meet Your Hosts

Close
We're Ralph & Marty Bogle, the owners of the newly converted Orange Blossom KOA, and we want to introduce ourselves (if we haven't already met!) and tell you a little bit about ourselves and our background. We came to central Florida after owning two other award-winning KOA's: if you've traveled in the Carolinas you may have been our guest at the Fayetteville/Wade KOA on I-95 in North Carolina, or more recently at the Spartanburg/Gaffney KOA on I-85 in South Carolina. We've camped and RV'ed for years, and we always appreciate an owner-operated park where pride of ownership shows in the day-to-day operation of the park and in the treatment of the guests

Before we bought our first RV Park, we did what many of our friends often talked about doing: we quit our jobs, sold our home in NH, and hit the road in our motorhome! That was 1997, and it was supposed to be a one year adventure that turned into 6 years of full-time travel all across this beautiful country, including a great trek through Alaska! During our homeless years, we learned a lot about RVing (even though, like many of you, we were already seasoned weekenders and vacationers!) and more importantly we learned what's important to RVer's when it comes to facilities and customer service.Orange Blossom KOA will meet our standards for cleanliness, value, and great customer service, and we've already made great strides toward meeting KOA national standards, from Restroom cleanliness to site maintenance and most importantly guest appreciation! We think you'll like our attention to detail and our commitment to keeping our campers happy! As on-site resident owners, we will work hard to make sure the park is clean and safe for you - we think you'll like the NEW Orange Blossom KOA, and we hope you'll come by and check us out!

Sundays are Longer! Stay with us between May 9, 2012 and September 9, 2012 and enjoy free late checkout every Sunday till 4pm. Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends checkout late on Monday. (Check-in time Noon or after).

Orlando (15 minutes) Photo Orlando (15 minutes) "Take a Look at Orlando!"

In 1856 Orlando became the county seat of Orange County, Florida. The “Town of Orlando” was incorporated on July 31, 1875 with an area of 4 square miles. Orlando incorporated as a city in 1885. Today, the City of Orlando as a result of numerous annexations has an area of over 100 square miles and is still located entirely within Orange County.

Orlando might be home to some of the nation's greatest theme parks, but there is a lot more that the City has to offer visitors. Here is some useful information on City events and activities for you to enjoy on your visit to The City Beautiful.

Disney World (30 minutes) Photo Disney World (30 minutes) Disney facts:

Walt Disney World was opened on October 1, 1971 and used the full name of its creator in its title. To paraphrase his brother Roy Disney at the opening, everyone had heard of Ford cars, but not necessarily Henry Ford who invented them. He wanted everyone to remember it was Walt Disney's dream and creation

Around 48 million people visit Disney World each year. The annual attendance at Disney’s Magic Kingdom® Park is around 17 million, followed by Epcot with 10.9 million, Disney’s Animal Kingdom with 9.6 million and Disney's Hollywood Studios with 9.5 million.

There are over 6000 rides in Disney world including Animal Kingdom, located within the park. Disney has some of fastest and scariest rides

Disney World is located in Orlando, Florida. The first theme park, the Magic Kingdom, opened in October of 1971. Epcot was added in 1982, followed by Disney's Hollywood Studios in 1989 and Disney's Animal Kingdom in 1998. The recreational "world" also features 2 water parks, 23 hotels, shopping and dining. Visitors from all over the world travel to Florida to enjoy a "magical" vacation.

Seaworld (30 minutes) Photo Seaworld (30 minutes) Sea World Orlando is the smallest of the three major theme parks in central Florida, but it is one of the most refreshing theme parks to visit. If you are traveling with children in particular, then you will really want to visit Sea World Orlando. After spending a few days at the "other larger parks", Sea World Orlando will give you and your family members a break from the long lines. Sea World Orlando has only a few rides and the rest of the park is designed around shows such as Believe, starring Shamu, so there is no waiting in lines.
