Minutes from the sugar-white Gulf of Mexico beaches and the beach-front community of Madeira Beach, this Gulf Coast KOA is located in tropical paradise setting along a mangrove-lined bayou.
Active adults will love our on-site recreation. Play any of our eight shuffleboard courts, try out your bocce ball toss or petanque, or enjoy a game of mini golf or volleyball. Water aerobics, yoga, quilting, and water color classes are just some of our many programs.
Snowbirds delight, for there’s never a shortage of activities just for you! Card games, pot lucks, dances every Friday night, Pancake Breakfast every Saturday and church services every Sunday! Come enjoy all that the St. Petersburg / Madeira Beach KOA has to offer. With so many options, wintering at this Gulf Coast KOA is a snowbird’s paradise!
In addition to extended stay sites, a broad range of camping options are offered, including spacious RV sites, Camping Cabins, and fully-furnished Deluxe Cabins. If you’re a tent camper, we’ve got lovely sites just for you.
Campground amenities include a fishing dock, TWO hot tubs (our newest edition is a private area just for adults!), a crystal clear outdoor pool and large, oak-shaded sites.
Rent a canoe and paddle the peaceful Long Bayou inland waterway, alive with herons, egrets, dolphins and other wildlife. If you are looking for fishing, golf, kayaking, or bicycling, the popular 47-mile Pinellas County Fitness Trail runs in front of the campground.
Planning a family reunion , church group outing or RV rally? We can accommodate your needs.
Busch Gardens , the Dali Museum and the Ringling Circus Museum are located just a few short miles from the campground.
If sports are your interest, we are ideally located near the Tampa Bay Buccaneers , Raymond James Stadium, the Tampa Bay Lightning , St. Petersburg Times Forum, and the Devil Rays home, Tropicana Field . Tampa / St. Petersburg also plays host to the annual Outback Bowl in January. The Tampa/St. Petersburg area is also home to Major League Baseball Spring Training . The Phillies, Yankees, Pirates, Reds, and Blue Jays all gather here each spring.
