The Clearwater/Lake Tarpon KOA was AMAZING!!! Clean, friendly, loved the morning treats!! The Landscaping, the pool area, the recreational things to do on property were all beautifully manicured nicely!!! The Laundry facilities were wonderful!! I would rate this KOA as the BEST in the Year 2024!!! Definity will be back!!! Happy Camper!!! Award this campground 2024 BEST!!

The general upkeep and cleanliness of the grounds were number one. All employees were very pleasant. The shrubs, trees and other vegetation are spectacular and lush. Like camping in a garden. The lands keepers get a big thumbs up!!!!

Everytime we are in the area it‘s a must to stay here ! We allways feel welcome and it‘s like a little family with the so friendly staff. Beautiful nature, great pool, we are happy to be back the third year in a row and will continue !

This camp is a gem.What all KOAs should strive to be.I made it a point to thank the caretaker of the property.Evidently a Bird enthusiast.The landscaping is to be commended.Tropical paradise.The staff was great.

We stay at this campground at least twice a year. It.is located in town but still quiet! The hosts are so friendly! There is daily activities for kids and adults and a doggie park for the puppers! Close to Greek Town (amazing food!) And the beaches.

Only needed to stay one night as we were heading further south. Pleasantly surprised as the campground right on US 19 and on the smaller size. Very clean and great staff. Had a very enjoyable stay.

We have camped for many years. I don’t believe we have ever met such a nice, cooperative & considerate group of campground employees. Always pleasant and wanting to make your stay great. Beautiful landscaping, super clean restrooms, laundry area, pool & complimentary breakfasts were a treat. We liked it so much we are going back. Many more thanks to all who made our stay such a pleasant one.

I love staying at this KOA. It is so lush. I stay close to the bathrooms, so yes there is a little traffic noise, but I only hear the lovely birds. I saw the largest pileated woodpecker I've ever seen at my site! In addition, all the people working there are phenomenal. When you hand them a trash bag and they respond with "Thank you," that says it all. It was just an enjoyable stay. Thank you!

Stayed here again because of its close location to tarpon springs/honeymoon island an fred rogers park. Beautiful campground and friendly staff

We have camped here for several years and each time a wonderful experience was had!! We need to thank soo many employees making the vacation a success!! Christopher, Mary, Dan, Jessica and Marissa!!!All helping out in so many ways!! All set to come back in 2025! Grandkids love it! Dan stayed super late to set up a movie for us while it poured rain! my campsite (411) was really narrow. I had to push my mirror of my class C in (toward window) to pass between my RV & bushes to get to entry door. On the other side, I was less than a foot away from electric pedestal & water valve. It was a clean, flat site for a tent not an RV.

This small park has lovely landscaping and is close to a lot of cute towns. Our 40 ft Class A and Jeep had lots of room and privacy. I would definitely stay again. Didn’t use the pool but it was cute and clean. Check out all the great restaurants in the area and the beaches.

The campground is lovely. The staff is warm, welcoming and very helpful. There are always activities going on. We participated in arts and crafts with our grandchildren and had a great time.

The campground was beautiful, well kept and controlled located. The staff was exceptional and definitely customer-oriented. Campsites were reasonably spacious and the tropical landscaping was beautiful. Bathrooms and showers were really nice and clean. I'll definitely be back!

My 3rd time staying there, I will be back. Noticed the free breakfast and activities must be under new management. Nice touch.

There are several positives. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have free breakfast every morning. They have activities daily. The landscaping is beautiful. Negatives. It is right off a very busy road and there is a lot of road noise. The sites for a big rig are very tight and you are very close to your neighbor. Overall we had a good experience.

We did not know that it was on a major highway. We thought it would be in at least a block or 2. You can't ride a bike anywhere unless it's on the same side of the road. You have to go everywhere in a vehicle. Then cross 4 lanes of traffic for a U-turn. KOA should consider turning decimated city's into campgrounds. Kids run around at night at the bathrooms and pool unchecked. Never Again!

Lovely and caring people,like For example, Merry from the front office. Also Marisa is very sweet and nice & she makes sure it fits us to have fun & enjoyed the property👍. Joe, the way he received us and took care of us, as soon as we arrived. Also, Dan helped us to park and keep the place clean and beautiful 😍. This is really one of the best KOAs I've ever stayed at. The park itself is beautifully landscaped. My site is under a beautiful canopy of trees. It's quiet. The park is extremely close to shops and restaurants. The only thing missing is there isn't a laundry area, at least not that I could did. They offer a lot of opportunities for activities and even offer breakfast. Being from Dunedin before becoming a roaming nomad I have driven past this KOA many times and didn't think much of it but being back in the area and a guest of this property I am very impressed. I did say I may have missed the laundry area and I guess I did as was kindly pointed out to me. I said "one of the best KOAs" because I've traveled 12000 miles so far and stayed in quite a few KOAs. Only two have been a disappointment. This KOA is NOT disappointing at all. I'm hitting the road again on Thursday but I'm sure KOA will be part of my travel plans and if I ever come back to the area I will most assuredly stay here again. The staff is exceptional and super friendly.

We stayed here for three nights on our trip through Florida. This KOA is a bit smaller than some of the other ones we have stayed at but very nice. It has beautiful landscaping and the sites are all very well setup and landscaped. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Everything was clean including the bathrooms and shower areas. And it was very convenient to Clearwater Beach and Honeymoon Island State Park (btw if you have never been to Honeymoon Island, I highly recommend it). There are plenty of gas stations, grocery stores and food options in the general area. The only downside was that it is on a very busy road with heavy traffic so turning in and leaving the park can sometimes be a challenge depending on the time of day. But all in all, it is a great KOA in a great location and we would stay there again.
