Meet Your Hosts
Dean Madison has enjoyed a rewarding career in KOA ownership. He purchased the Cape Kennedy Kampground in Titusville in 1976, and converted it to a KOA. He enjoys the outdoors and the camping guests.
Madison said he was ready to give up the 9 to 5 routine of his IBM job in computer software. He also spent eight years in active duty in the U.S. Navy, and continued in the Navy Reserve until 1985. He continues to enjoy fishing, diving and boating in general, he added. He has a house in the Florida Keys where he loves to spend time.
Over the years he's enjoyed the satisfaction of doing everything possible to take care of the KOA guests. "We try to do our best to insure that their stay with us is a pleasant experience."
They recently installed a brand new playground, as well as three completely furnished kamping lodges. The campground is landscaped with many trees which the guests love, he added.
"Providing friendly service to our guests and knowing that their stay was enjoyable brings me the most pride," Madison added.
