Daytona Beach International Speedway
The World's Center of racing has events year round starting with Speedweeks in February with The 24 hours of Daytona and finishing with the "Great American Race" The Daytona 500. Next is Bikeweek and The Spring Fling Car show in March. July brings Nascar back to town for the Coke Zero 400. Biketobefest in October and The Turkey Rod Run on Thanksgiving weekend are must see events that finish the year.

All week, tens of thousands of spectators flock to Daytona International Speedway. All week long, people are asking to see all the great new features - “Big Daddy” Don Garlits, the Motorcycle Showcase, and the fantastic displays from GM and Dodge – and of course the show cars!

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – . “The decision to kick-off to the NASCAR racing season one week later was made in close partnership with the sanctioning body, our broadcast partners including FOX, community partners and others within the industry,” said Chitwood. “This move shortens the racing season by one week, which is something the teams and competitors will surely enjoy, and it eliminates the off-weekend typically scheduled in March, which many fans and media partners have said created a drop in momentum in the early part of the racing season. “We also know some of our great fans like to plan their visit to the ‘World Center of Racing’ well in advance so we are announcing the 2012 date much earlier in the season to minimize any inconveniences in planning their visit.” The dates of Daytona International Speedway’s other racing events that comprise Speedweeks, in addition to the motorcycle events in March, will be determined in the near future. Bike Week March 8-17, 2013
Daytona Bike Week also called Daytona Beach Bike Week, is a motorcycle event and rally held annually in Daytona Beach, Florida. Approximately 500,000 people make their way to the rally area for the 10-day event. The festivities include motorcycle racing, concerts, parties, and street festivals.
