Campground Reviews

Staff was great but there were many campfires that were not put out and left unattended. This created both respiratory and fire dangers.

Everything was so clean and neat. Employees were very nice. Only complaint the Washers and dryers seemed expensive, and not enough machines especially during slow season.

We loved the location of this KOA; near enough to the entrance to Yellowstone for frequent visits, and easy access to shops and restaurants. The park staff was friendly and helpful. The showers and bathrooms in the office building were very nice. The railroad ties around our parking space were awkward. In retrospect, we should have asked to move to another site.

The campgrounds are well maintained and watched by staff. Everyone we talked to was very friendly!

All the KOA employees were super helpful and friendly! Enjoyed our view and site!

Tent Place are too close to the street. Very loud!!!

The campground was clean and very well kept, employees were friendly and helpful. Lots of trees around which makes it less noisy and prettier. The sites are gravel but deep and level. The showers and bathrooms were very nice. All the dryers and washers worked as they should. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Clean cabin, clean restrooms aside from all men's toilets near us clogged first am. Quiet location. Tight parking spots. Hard mattresses. Lovely grounds. Friendly staff. Kids activities. Indoor pool closed after labor day? Coffee shop closed too? Odd. Cute gift shop and shop with some food essentials, snacks, + RV hoses and fluids etc. Close to town and the park. Already recommended to a friend.

The whole park was well kept and very clean. Our campsite with a fire pit was wonderful. Easy in and out. The staff very helpful and friendly.

Enjoyed our stay here, but make sure and get a site away from the highway. The sites and amenities are very nice and the campground is not that far from the West Yellowstone entrance. Also nice helpful staff!

This was our first stay, and the campground exceeded our expectations at every turn. Super well kept, very attentive staff. We arrived at end of season, but the store was still fairly well stocked. Playground, dog runs, bathrooms, showers, roadways and sites were immaculate. Wonderful idea to have a staff member in a golf cart escort you to your assigned site!

We stayed in dlx cabin. This KOA is corp owned. You’d think it would be top notch. Opposite is true. Really nice camp store. The cabin unfortunately was a major disappointment. Bed shoved into a corner, no shelving or hooks or tables. Dirty bathroom with disgusting shower curtain. Filthy kitchen & utensil bin. Just yuk. Make sure you find a family owned KOA for your stays. They’ve all been amaz

we had a good experience overall, but my mom slipped in the shower because the floor was so wet and slippery, and she fell and broke her arm. this was at 9pm and urgent care was not open until the next morning. it would be beneficial to have a first aid kit onsite with the night host or accessible to campers, as we had flown in so we could not bring our own.

Staff was very friendly & helpful with both location requests and recommendations for outside activities. Cabin had all the necessary items (towels, pots/pans, heaters, linens). Deluxe cabin was just a tad tight for a family of 4 but we were able to make-do.

Overall, our stay was great. Close to West Yellowstone (Town) and Yellowstone’s west gate. The staff at this KOA was also great, friendly, and helpful. The only suggestion that I have is the golf carts/gators the staff uses to move around the park, make them electric. The gas powered versions are very noisy and loud, which makes it not so quiet park. Just a suggestion.

Busy and clean Campground. Well stocked camp store and large laundry facility. Friendly and helpful staff.

Noise from road , air breaks , semis flying past , lights on tent from traffic. Just get to sleep . Here they come again. maybe 3 hours sleep off and on. Site 121 . Right on the road where all tent sites are. 2 nights . Both nights the same.

The showers were the dirtiest we have come across on our travels. The bathroom counters were always full of liquid soap which was always leaking and dripping. The shower faucet was hard to pull out and turn on. The cabin door was only opening halfway at best making it difficult to carry luggage and cooler inside. The twin mattress needed replacing. Overall this koa is not up to koa standards

Cabin was dirty. Frig was dirty. Soap dispenser in bathroom had black dirt smeared all over it. Grill didn't work( we.reported it to staff twice but was never fixed). Lots of spiders inside cabin. Windowsills had lots of dead bugs).

Thank you for your welcoming and would stay here again

The staff were so helpful, they guided us to the site so we could set up, and assisted getting us in. The people in the store were great always ready to help any way they could. The laundry facilities had enough machines so you could make use of it even when it was busy. We very much loved the patio and the swing. It was nice to step out of the RV right on to concrete. GREAT JOB KOA!!!

Good place to stay.

The desk help was terrific. The tent cabin was awful. The door would lock outside. Inside, the bolt was usable. When we left, our door would fly open. The bed squawked. The pad was super old and we both still have back aches on our shoulders blades. Thanks for asking. We’ve stayed here about six times. Never felt this way before.

I expected more from KOA. The cabin floor was filthy and turned your socks brown, sheets were stained, pullout bed was rickety and squeaky, dishes were put away dirty and greasy, microwave had splattered food in it, the stove barely got hot enough to cook anything. For $300 a night, I expected things to at least be clean. Worry less about providing Keurigs and shower gel and clean up your act.

Very clean and spacious sites. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The maintenance personnel will do most anything to help if you need. Every fellow camper was very friendly. I can't wait for the next KOA adventure!

Great view from our site and easy to set up. Downfall was where the fire pit was. To close to the road and to the next camper with slide outs. Store hours should be longer hours. Main bathrooms were closed for “cleaning” after Labor Day and never reopened before we left on 9/5.

This may be the best KOA we’ve stayed at. The site was perfectly level, the cable TV worked, bathrooms and showers were clean and most of the sites were shady! There is a huge playground and jump pad for the kids. If we had come “In season.” There would have been an indoor pool and even an ice cream shack!

Nice place to stay while visiting the greater Yellowstone area.

The people are very helpful, friendly, and eager to answer any question about places to see, and go. The KOA was very clean. The pet area was perfect. There were supplies there to clean up after your pet, a bench to sit and let them run. They would deliver your wood if you bought it. Cabin was clean, easy to get into. They gave us an extra key to put in the truck so we didn't lock ourselves out.

This campground was close to the west entrance of Yellowstone, but the staff are incredibly helpful, cheerful, and available. The bathrooms were kept clean, there was shade at virtually every site, and it was quiet given all the campers. We would definitely recommend this campground and we would stay here again.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Location was top, and employees super friendly and welcoming! Only a short drive to the entrance of the park. Minus: our tent site 209 was too close to high (loud) traffic road, I suggest keeping those spots for RV only. Restrooms could be cleaner: mud and hair in showers, 1 cobweb hanging from restroom ceiling above sinks

A big problem was the mattress. Oh my gosh, it was like laying on boards. I had to compensate by moving another mattress on top of my bed. Lay on it and you will understand. Also, on the funny side, how tall was the mirror installer?

Stayed for a weekend trip and we had one of the campsites with electric outlets and it was perfect! Bathrooms clean, so much activity for the kids, we will certainly be coming back!

Very nice park. Despite most everyone around us having dogs, it was a beautiful and peaceful place. Entrance comes up fast so look ahead for the yellow KOA sign.
