I sent an email regarding how dissatisfied I was due to the 10 people and tents that set up around midnight on the single tent sight next to me. I have not received any response to that.

A very nice campground with accomodating staff. The grandkids had a great time.

Bathrooms and showers were dirty. The fire pit on our spot was not user friendly due to its location near the concrete pad and the slope of the lot!

ALL bathroom and shower facilities are awful, dirty and gross - tiolet that doesn't flush, a clogged sink, mold and hair in every shower; no paper towels so that people can wipe down the counter - so it was always soapy and wet.. and hairy. The staff drive golf carts through the property at 6 AM causing dust clouds and noise: one was a gas engine that smoked and smelled.

This is a very nice park. There are many things to do at the park and it is not far from Yellowstone. The beds in our cabin were very creeky, so everytime you moved the bed made noise. Other than that we had a wonderful stay.

My family and I stayed here last week during our visit to Yellowstone (: it was great. Everyone was super kind and helpful. The general store has almost everything you could potentially forget and need during your stay lol. Very convenient. I will definitely stay here during our next visit in 2026. Thanks guys!

One of the worst sites we have ever stayed in and was supposed to be a deluxe. We were on a side of a hill, had a horrible time trying to get level. Our steps couldn’t be put down since the site was narrow and we were trying to be level. People parked in the middle of the road early morning running cars and making noise. Only positive was how close to the entrance. Campground needed updating

We were not impressed with our camp site. We were placed in site 444 which is at the far edge of the campground. It was constant traffic from campers and staff. Couldn’t even enjoy sitting outside as the dust was so horrible. We have a son with allergies so he couldn’t be outside much at all. You’d think for $100/night there’d be some sort of dust mitigation. We asked to be moved but were

We stayed in site 418 and my parents stayed in 422. The sites were very dirty. Site 418 was especially terrible. The black dirt made up the entire space. There was no truly level spot for our tent so sleeping was uncomfortable. Everything for unnecessarily dirty. There was even dirt in our mouths. The interior or our vehicle has a layer of dirt on every surface. All of our gear needs to be cleaned

Excellent service from staff from check in to departure. Nice amenities and well stocked camp store.

What a great campground just outside of Yellowstone. Great meals and don't forget to have the ice cream.

Good place to stay that is close to Yellowstone West Entrance

Ok. Crowded campground. No poop bags at our paw pen

Very family friend; picturesque setting; stores in town if you need anything; wouldn't recommend the Koa store as it was overly priced. Biggest complaint is the matresses in the one room cabins. They have no cushion at all so it felt like we were sleeping on a hard surface. Our backs, hips, and shoulders were extremely sore throughout the night. Please switch them to a better quality.

We had a short but nice stay, the KOA staff and our fellow campers were all friendly and the park was clean. The proximity to Yellowstone West entrance was perfect and we had access to everything we needed.

Very clean, friendly staff and a fun place to stay!

Nice, clean campgrounds. Plenty of activities for kids. The sites are a little on the small size and unlevel. It's the largest campground I've stayed at.

This place gets packed! Sites are a little tight but set up so you can get your RV into them. We had a site on the end near some cabins so had some privacy. Showers were kind of dirty, small and no shelves for shampoo etc. Nice store, ice cream cart nearby w/reasonable prices and good ice cream. Rent bikes and pedal carts. Playground. I would stay again. Very pretty and shaded RV park.

Very nice place. Near by the Park. Staff is very friendly

Friendly staff, good amenities, beautiful property, close to Yellowstone. Loved it

Beautiful RV park with plenty of shade. Spots were wide. Bathrooms could’ve used more attention. Lots to do at the park if not going into YNP. Bike rentals, large playground for the kids, 2 dog runs, and a pool. Coffee bar in the morning and ice cream in the afternoon. Horseback riding right next door.

We were on far end of park. No facilities close. Long long walk to showers and laundry. Not ideal. This may effect my decision to stay here again

Great location to island park, west Yellowstone and more. Campground is very busy, lots of kids and lots of activity. The deluxe patio sites are nice with large shade trees and a great patio and fire pit. The only downfall is there is not a lot of green space to walk the dogs compared to other smaller properties and for the price and the deluxe site it would have been great to have a gas grill

I was impressed with how big and nice the campground was. However, I was very disappointed in our tent site right next to the highway and under the light! I got no sleep at all!!

Cabin, bathrooms and campground were very clean. Used the pool and it was a very welcome amenity. Mattresses in the cabins weren’t overly great, but manageable. Would definitely stay again.

My grandkids loved the play area. Everything was great. Next time we will stay three nights!

We got there late, just as employees were leaving. They were kind enough to offer assistance. The one gentleman went and got in the cart and drove me to a few sites to pick one then led us to the site and made sure we were good before going home. Kudos to him.

Campsites were clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I did make a call to inquire about site selection and was told I'd get put where I'll fit and was hung up on. I was pretty miffed about that

Very nice park. Despite most everyone around us having dogs, it was a beautiful and peaceful place. Entrance comes up fast so look ahead for the yellow KOA sign.

Space was clean and well manicured. Utilities all worked very well. Staff seemed over worked, might need more help as they offer alot of different activities. Showers and bathrooms at the main lodge were very clean and updated. Could serve there coffee shack coffee till a later time of 9:30, and I wasn't the only guest thinking that.

The Yellowstone Park / West Gate KOA is a beautiful campground with RV, cabin, and tent sites. Our patio site featured mature pine trees, a swing, and a picnic table. Amenities included an indoor pool, dog park, camp store, coffee shop, and ice cream stand. Its location just minutes from Yellowstone's West Entrance made it an ideal base for exploring the park. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.
