We were able to be accommodated at short notice and appreciated the kindness of the staff. Our tent spot was great for a family of 6 with a large tent and 2 dogs. The restrooms were clean and surprisingly also had showers. There was also a sink for cleaning dishes and a hose for filling water. It had lots of play area for the kids. We had a very comfortable stay and would stay again!

We stayed on Memorial Day and found a great spot and the staff was very helpful. Definitely recommend!

This is one of the best KOAs I have stayed at. The showers were great, the bathrooms were clean. The front desk/store was well stocked and fun. The tent spots were spacious. There was a surprising amount of things to do just in the campground itself.

Spacious tent sites, restrooms were easily accessible but could have been a bit cleaner. At one point a stall was out of tissue. Otherwise good location close to everything.

We stayed two nights. The spot was nice. The bathrooms could use a good clean once a day along with daily trash removal.

The workers were great, the pool was so refreshing. The campsite was very well maintained, The bathrooms and showers were clean.The only thing I would say is that the large sites should have 2 picnic tables. There were 8 of us and 1 picnic table was n9t enough.

Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay- and plan to stay again. There was a leak in the girls bathroom and the staff was quick to take care of it. Very responsive and friendly. It was hot w/little shade @site and pool was amenity we enjoyed. The reason we aren’t leaving a 5 star rating is because campers came into their sites after quiet hours and their lights were very bright and disruptive.

Kat was amazing, welcoming and kind. The bathrooms were a 7/10 could use a little love as well as the broken laundry machines. Overall loved the huge lawn and grass areas plus all the amenities.

The site and facilities were very clean. Frustrated that the pool was not open as scheduled. After waiting for 30 minutes, finally went to office and was told the chemicals needed to be checked and it would still be another 30 minutes. This has been my third stay at this site.

The staff was really nice! We couldn't get the electricity at our tent site to work. The front desk radioed a facilities person who zipped over in a golf cart, fiddled with the breaker, and BOOM! we had electricity! Sure was super sweet and didn't make us feel dumb for not knowing what to do.

It was great! There was so much for the kids to have fun that we barely had to leave the site, but when we did everything was at a convenient distance. It’s perfect for traveling with kids!

We stayed in a tent site, then transferred to an RV site and shared that with my parents. The host was very friendly and accommodating.

It was great! We have been coming to vernal every year to stay at the KOA and see all the dinosaurs! This year we feel like it was a little rundown down this year, compared to other years. the soap in the boys didnt work a toilet flushe handel in the girls was broken. But we could tell some improvements were happening, we look forward to staying here again next year.

They stay was great overall. Clean, quiet and kind staff. Only reason for a less than perfect score was the pool, which we were looking forward to using. It was too cold to swim for any guest and was empty the entire time. If you are not planning on using the pool it’s a perfect score and a great place to stay.

The bathroom near the tent sites only had two working toilets and two working showers. One busy holiday weekend, more attention should be given to making sure out of order stalls be repaired faster. The on site activities like mini golf and jump pad were a nice surprise.

Very quiet - only 3 other campers there when we stayed. They happily downgraded us from an RV site to a Tent site since our CamperVan didn't need any utilities. Had a nice site with parking on the grass at the back of the campground away from the road noise.

Minimal water pressure in bathrooms. LOTS of mosquitoes as well! Otherwise a nice stay.

We didn’t even set up camp. Left without staying. It just wasn’t for us. No shade. To close to a main road. Old and tired place for tent camping. The camper spaces look much nicer. The cabins looked decent.

We were the only camper in the tent area. Restrooms were very clean, hot water in the sink but I found only warm in the men's handicap shower. The grounds were spacious and kept clean.

Love this KOA, it’s clean and well kept. The amenities make it extra nice and the area surrounding is full of places to eat, hike, and enjoy. Our neighbors were the only downfall of this visit, staying up past 12am and getting up by 7am making noise the whole time.

Daniel, the campground manager, offered to suggest some places to visit during our 2 night stay. I am so glad that we welcomed his ideas- he knows the are very well and there were more places to visit than we had time for. Very clean bathrooms, even with a nearly full campground.

Our tent spot was shaded well with all the trees! Plenty of grass to play football games with other guests! The bathrooms needed a lot of attention! Our second day there, there was only one toilet stall operable and two shower stalls operable!

We loved the campground in general. We enjoyed the grass, the pool and the mini golf. The staff was so friendly and wonderful. My only complaint was the bathrooms. They kept having clogged toilets and they had broken locks on some of the stalls.

Lovely campground. Great communication. Things were nice and bathroom/showers promptly cleaned before and after the morning rush of people. The town was cute and had a wonderful 4th of July festival. This was a great base for Dinosaur National Monument and some great hikes. We had a great time.

Loved it here. Quite, well maintained, very helpful and friendly staff. Vernal has a lot to see and the entire area is full of natural beauty, state parks and Dinosaur National Monument
