The staff was very kind and friendly. The cabin was clean and the camping areas well maintained. The only draw back was Wi-Fi and internet was very poor. Overall we would gladly stay again.

The staff were very friendly and there were fun activities. However, the place seemed pretty neglected. Our cabin was very dirty and seemed like only the toilet and bathroom sink were clean. We were disappointed since our previous stay had been so nice.

The cabin was very clean. The linens were fresh and the cabin stay was way better than anticipated. The property grounds are great for families, there’s the pool, playground, miniature golf, tetherball, bounce pillow, and horseshoes. My family had so much fun at this KOA!

Our stay was everything that we were looking for. The pool was splendid. Clean and refreshing with the right temprature. Staff was friendly. Cabin was clean and relaxing with the porch swing.

We love staying here! Everything is always so clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. You can tell management cares about guest experience and goes above and beyond to make it a great one!

We stayed in one of the camping cabins and it was clean and had a mini fridge for our convenience. There were so many amenities to keep our 3 year old entertained! The jump pad was a huge hit as well as the playground and pool. We hit a few balls in the putt putt golf and saw there were MANY more games to play. The bathrooms and showers were clean and the store onsite was well stocked! Great stay!

Our KOA deluxe cabin was clean and comfortable, and the kids had fun with the campground amenities (pool, mini golf, jumping pad, playground, and huge grassy field right behind cabin). Thanks for a great stay!

The staff was great right from the beginning! The cabin we stayed in looked brand new! It was wonderful! The property was beautiful as well! One of my favorite KOA stops ever!

The grass was very dry when we arrived. I missed the nice flower pots at our cabin. And they really, seriously need to put in new mattress pads. We bring a sleeping bag plus sheets and bedding and we could hardly move when we got out of bed. I don't think they have replaced the pads in the 15 plus years we have been staying there.. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff are beyond the best I have ever seen. Just the most enthusiastic people ever. The cabin mattress’s were like sinkholes. The kitchen table was sticky. Besides that we had fun.

Lovely property, and short drive to area attractions. Friendly staff. Stayed in a deluxe cabin which was well stocked. Really enjoyed the patio, covered porch, and bbq. Only minus was on arrival, cabin floor was very dirty, had to be swept twice to avoid grit, and had a lot of white dog hair on the entry mat.

Positive feedback because the unit was brand new. Needs cutting board, barbecue utensils, aluminum foil, and a broom. The price to stay each night is no different than an Extended Stay hotel so you need to have the proper supplies. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the fall. Thank you

We love staying at the KOA in Vernal. We always have the best time. The staff is friendly and helpful. We needed to have a couple of repairs and they were attended to quickly. It would be nice if the playground hours were adjusted to the increased daylight hours but the kids always have fun riding their bikes and playing frizbee in the field. It would be nice to have a dishrack in the large cabin.

Great play area, bounce pad and mini golf are nice extras. Deluxe cabin 1 is very small compared to the other deluxe cabins and it seemed unfair to pay the same amount for a markedly more crowded experience. The kitchen could use open shelves above the sink. I used the microwave as a pantry because of so little storage space. And the furnace can't be turned on by the thermostat.

Awesome campground. Campground Manager Daniel did absolutely everything he could to make our stay the best it could be. Superior customer service. This is the second time I’ve stayed there and this time was much better than the last (a few years ago)…many improvements to the campground have been made over the last few years!

The basic Kamping Cabin had a fridge, a picnic table, a fire pit, and a grill (coals needed). The wall heater unit worked great. The shared bathroom was clean. The laundry room was affordable. I would stay again.

Next time we'll book further in advance so that we can stay for more than 1 night! My kids LOVED the Cabin and the personal Fire Pit made for a great evening spent roasting marshmallows! Thanks again we will definitely be back soon!

2nd time staying here. Both times were great! Bathrooms are clean and the play are was well taken care of for the kids. The place is quite at night too. We stayed in the cabin this time and the heater kept us warm

We LOVED our stay at the KOA in Vernal, Utah. We loved the camping cabin and our kids loved the bunk beds. Our kids favorite part was the mini golf. The porch swing and fire ring were very fun. We will definitely go back to this KOA in the future.

We decided to try the glamping and stayed at the yurt. Yurt was ok, but the rusting living room set was very uncomfortable, chairs hard . During the night was 45 degrees and there was a tiny heater and a very thin comforter. No extra blankets or heaters. We froze, used towels to cover ourselves up. It was freezing. The place is not worth the big money.

LOVE this KOA. Have stayed multiple times and it has ALWAYS been a great experience. Well run KOA and I stay at many. One of, if not the best. I'll be back for sure.

Pros- friendly & helpful staff, clean rooms Cons- hot, stuffy cabin upon arrival, lukewarm shower which was very unpleasant (experienced by 2 different people- one in the evening and one in the morning), no bed linens even though we paid extra (provided upon request), no other lighting option besides the bright overhead light, so it was either pitch black or really bright

This is our second stay at the Vernal KOA. It's clean, well kept, and generally pleasant, but my favorite part are the simple activities on site. My kids adore the park and blow up playground, I got to play a ridiculous game of mini golf with my brothers, and learn how to play disc golf. My dog even got to enjoy the tiny dog park :)

This is one of our favorite KOAs! We love the camping cabins, but there are also tent sites, RV sites and TeePees. There are lots of activities for the kids and it’s close to Dinosaur National Monument. The highlight though is the staff. They are so friendly and so helpful.

We rented both a deluxe cabin and a super spot for our fifth wheel. We make the trip every year for Dino days with our grandkids and have loved it every time. The staff is friendly and the facility well kept, well lit and accommodating to all our needs. Swimming pool is clean and well maintained. Our grandbabies love the swimming time after hikes or visiting the street festival. Highly recommend.

Location is great, staff is super friendly, has large grassy areas for kids to play in,along with jump pad,full size mini golf course, play ground, Atv/utv rentals, trike rentals for the entire family,the deluxe cabin 4 is amazing sleeps 6 well. I highly reccomend this Koa.

Awesome experience. Clean sites / Cabins. Excellent service from staff. Only negative was the swarm if wasps at our campsite. Staff was awesome trying to help with the problem though.

Generally a great stay but, as with most KOA sites we have visited, intermittent wi-fi. The restroom door also failed to lock much to the shock of an American child 🤣 Great location to explore the surrounding area. We loved the Moon Arch which was only a few miles out of town. The shop has a fantastic set of about 20 walks that you can take of the surrounding area. Vernal itself was a nice town and we enjoyed our best, and cheapest, meal there at Betty's Cafe.

The site layout is pretty good with plenty of space. Only 2 complaints were the distance to the bathrooms and the back border of the campsite being a rusty Barbed Wire fence, wouldn't be too great for kids to get tangled up in.
