The bathrooms were always out of toilet paper on the side of the play area, just inconvenient.

Staff helpful and friendly. Gas grill was not working efficiently and toilet in cabin was needing attention as it kept running after being flushed. This has been reported to management. Nice campground and staff was always working on grounds. Would definitely return when in area.

We were originally booked in the "Sundance Kid" camper cabin but when we got all of our stuff unpacked, we noticed the hot water didn't work. Juanita was working in the office and quickly came over and offered to let us move into the adjacent "Butch Cassidy" cabin. It was a bit of a pain to move everything, but well worth it. Was a nicer cabin & she didn't charge us the extra $$$. Great place!!

The best staff ever! The cabin was clean and cozy, the grounds are beautiful and the kids loved the bikes, golf and playground. We can't wait to do it again.

We rented a deluxe cabin assuming this would have a way to cook. There wasn't. It has a fridge and a microwave but could sleep 8 so this was very deceiving. Then surrounding cabins had a BBQ we did not we have some kind of cooking stove on the deck but no propane. They didn't have any bike rentals out for the year. The jump mat was not up yet. Should have been discounted.

The deluxe cabin was wonderful. Clean bedding and towels were supplied as well as basic flatware and dinnerware. Cable TV was wonderful and the heaters and on demand hot water was nice(it was snowing the 1st week of April this year) The staff were super friendly and helpful, we used the laundromat, which was nice. We enjoyed visiting the Quarry, the Dinosaur museum, Heritage museum and the library

Easy Access to Dinosaur National Monument, Betty's Cafe for breakfast, and if you like really good traditional Mexican food Plaza Mexicana. A bit pricey for a Kamping Kabin ($20-30 more than other KOAs we stayed at on the same trip in UT and CO), but we'd stay again.

I liked the grounds and where the camping cabins are but the cleaning of the cabin is poor. Walked into our cabin and there where chewed up sunflower shells everywhere even on top of the refrigerator. The bed mattress need to be replaced, woke up about 1 hr after falling asleep and felt the wood bars under the mattress.

Our deluxe cabin was wonderful . Very well appointed and clean . The campground itself is well kept and a has a very lovely country setting about it . The RV spaces seemed very wide . Did use the bathrooms and they were clean and tidy . Definitely will stay again.

The cabin was nice but when we wanted to laundry we needed change the office was closed so we tried to find a laundromat that was close but no luck with that. Their was a event going on last weekend and the one that was closest had a full parking lot so we drove around to the gas stations to get quarters. Luckily we were able to get change not everyone will give you that much in quarters.

The Teepee was fine but for the price you can get a room at a best Western and have climate control. Koa gift certificates are a waste you can't use them to book online and they will not hold your spot unless you fully book and pay online

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Vernal/Dinosaur KOA. The land and facilities were well kept. My kids liked the playground and pool a lot. It was also a perfect distance to get to downtown Vernal, but far enough away for some peace and quiet. We will look for more opportunities to stay here in the future!

We stayed in a cabin under some trees and backing up to the tree line. We had baby deer in the trees about 10 feet from our door. Clean and well lit. Nice place to stay and enjoy a fire.

The first big vacation with our grandsons. Your entire staff was helpful, friendly and all around wonderful. We had so much fun we decided to extend our stay and your housekeeping staff was top notch to get us into a cabin from a 2 night stay in the Tipi. Thank you all so much. Loved telling the boys to always watch for the yellow KOA sign and think of our trip.

There was a lot to love! The cabin was cute and clean, the A/C and fridge were in good working condition, and the grill was lovely. We were disappointed there was no cookware (as promised on the website) and that the water heater was out of order, but it was still a nice experience. I recommend the staff update the website more often, but it was nice overall.

I felt the Vernal KOA had a splendid location (close, but out of town), great grounds too. Only complaint, I've stayed in southern Utah KOA cabins and they had an AC for the summer heat. Otherwise, your Vernal KOA was phenomenal! Great staff, clean bathrooms, the worx

The only problem I had was with drones. People flying them seemed to hang out directly above use, seemingly watching us. It was disturbing.

The stay was very pleasant. However, I would recommend putting bathrooms closer to the cabins without them. Also for those cabins, I would recommend better bed cushions or mattresses because the ones in cabins 3 and 4 were VERY uncomfortable. And lastly, I would recommend more outlets in the cabins. There were only one in cabins 3 and 4. But overall, we had a blast and our children were ver.

Everything was perfect...except the mattress on the cabin bed...it desperately needs replaced. Customer service was fantastic, rooms were cleaned, cleaners were so kind and considerate, entertainment was spot on. I was surprised that I paid for bedding and the bunkbeds did not have any bedding on them. This should have been described in the booking. We LOVE KOA's!

The Deluxe Cabin was a fantastic end to my four day stay at the Vernal KOA! Cabin was neat (and new) with a comfy bed, hot shower, kitchenette and more! With rain in the forecast, I asked the staff if I could alter my reservation for my last night to a cabin. Staff were excellent and accommodating! I slept so sound I didn't hear the thunderstorm and wind that other campers endured! Thank you!

Generally a great stay but, as with most KOA sites we have visited, intermittent wi-fi. The restroom door also failed to lock much to the shock of an American child 🤣 Great location to explore the surrounding area. We loved the Moon Arch which was only a few miles out of town. The shop has a fantastic set of about 20 walks that you can take of the surrounding area. Vernal itself was a nice town and we enjoyed our best, and cheapest, meal there at Betty's Cafe.

The site layout is pretty good with plenty of space. Only 2 complaints were the distance to the bathrooms and the back border of the campsite being a rusty Barbed Wire fence, wouldn't be too great for kids to get tangled up in.
