We were disappointed, did not think this was up to a holiday standard. The roads are very rough in and out of campground. Couple of major dips in the roadway. The traffic seemed non stop coming and going in the campground, not sure if permanent campers were in the back, but they were definitely not following the posted speed limit in the campground as they continuously came in and out.

Stay was nice! Would have liked a heater in cabin instead of a fan as the temperature was 42 in the morning.

The cabin was very clean. The people that we had contact with were very helpful and nice to talk to.

Nice facility! I didn't give it a 10 or five because things were a bit run-down. One of the washers didn't work, and two of the dryers in the laundry room were broken. The floor could use a cleaning. Loved the screens between the spaces! Watch out the the Dips in the road!

-Water connection broken and soaked me-No maintenance available -Very tight camping spaces -Had to dehitch and rehitch to move to a different site -Sites were unlevel -Ditches dug across road for speed control were way too deep and could have damaged our camper -Dog Park had full poop bin. -Attendants drove by and didn't offer help -No way to leave camper hitched for an overnighter as my

We were very comfortable during our stay. Although we don’t have kids, I was impressed at how many activities there were to do. Awesome tree lined spaces with plenty of room to hang out. Internet was not super great but all in all it was a great park!

My husband and I stayed in the yurt while exploring Dinosaur National Monument. It was spotless, cozy, and was well-stocked with everything we needed. After a day of hiking and sightseeing, the front porch was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We’d definitely stay here again!

The first site they put us in did not work for us. 90 deg to road, so a challenge to get into. A tree next to the road on the way out. But the staff moved us to a site that worked great for us. Thanks. Very nice, friendly, and helpful. Now we know that you can choose a specific site when you make a reservation, for a fee.

We come to Vernal every year and love staying at this KOA campground, people are so helpful and friendly. We are selling our camper this year and plan on still coming there and renting a cabin.

We stayed in a camping cabin. Great little place with grill, fire pit, and great hot shower. The staff is great. Very friendly and helpful.

The location is convenient to Vernal & somewhat close to the west side of Dinosaur National Monument. The people working here were friendly and helpful, especially when the sewer backed up. They were able to get it fixed pretty quick. We stayed here for the full hookups. Albeit it being clean, the campsites are very close. We stayed in # 12 - in a ‘huge’ back-in site. Definitely a lot more spa

Very nice play area. Recommend better road fencing near play area. Laundry facilities need upgrade. Enjoyed our stay. Nice sites with patio, furniture, fire ring and grill. Enjoyed tree, for a shady site.

The campground was great. We were in one of the larger spaces. Very friendly staff. The small yellow jacket bee’s were thick. Hard to sit out and enjoy the great weather. WIFI was hit n miss. Weak signal and not fast.

The big cottonwood trees provide great shade, on some sites. Pool was wonderful. The speed dips are too severe. We worried about damage to the RV suspension. Be careful!

Spacious tent sites, restrooms were easily accessible but could have been a bit cleaner. At one point a stall was out of tissue. Otherwise good location close to everything.

The campground was well maintained and the employees were friendly and helpful. Our biggest complaint is the trailer park towards the back and its residents and sheriff's department that would drive though the campground well over the speed limit to get to the trailer park.

The office staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is under appealing. There are stacks of debris ( cement, wood, tree branches) all over the property. They use speed gullies instead of speed bumps which are excessively hard on suspensions and they aren’t marked. The gravel RV sites are overgrown with weeds. Too many dogs running around without leashes. Site D14 especially and people that were in the tents did not bring their dogs in at night.

The cabin was so clean and comfortable. It was cool and ready when we got there. The KOA as a whole was fun with mini golf, swimming, playground, and the bounce mat. Juanita in the office helped us get great deals with our stay as well. She was super helpful. We’ve been here before and we will most likely be back!

Our initial greeting was wonderful. Juanita was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We also really appreciated the text communications. We aren't leaving a 5-star review, however, because the facilities were very dirty, and dated. Trash cans were over-flowing and play areas needed help. The bathroom wasn't cleaned until our last day there. Other visitors were grumbling about it as well.

We come to Vernal every year for the balloon festival, and our friends stayed at this KOA last year. We had so much fun, a group of us decided to book spots this year. We will definitely come back!

The KOA is a great place to stay with family. I appreciated the playground and pool for my child to utilize and burn off extra energy at the end of the day. I did not like the wasp the joined us for breakfast every morning. I thought there was a nest under our table, but that wasn't the case. I am not sure where they came from, but they joined us both mornings after I started cooking breakfast

The owners and staff are kind, understanding and helpful. The sites are well kept. The bathroom is super clean and the showers have doors that make the space private along with a shower curtain to separate the shower from the changing area. This is a wonderful place to stay. It's not far from Dinosaur National Monument and also not too far from Flaming Gorge. The town of Vernal has much to offer as does this KOA!
