Toilets had fecal material in the bowls for at least three days (the entirety of our stay. Showers were not cleaned. Cursory disinfectant spray was applied to the sink areas and wiped. One shower was out of order on the woman’s side. The campground has seen better days. It looks tired.

The owners have the audacity to hand you a piece of paper asking you to rate their campground "NO LOWER" than an 8 or 9 to ensure good standing. In actuality the place is a dump ! The driveway is loaded with potholes and deep drainage dips. Un-mowed sites, old bathrooms, no caulk anywhere, broken toilet seat, dirty washers, dryers not working, no coins to do laundry. STAY AWAY !!!!!

The young woman who checked us in was very nice and the bath houses were very clean. Unfortunately the facilities - ditches instead of speed bumps, jury-rigged shower and toilet doors - were just too big of a detractor.

Friendly staff. Quick check-in. Clean restrooms and sites. Quiet spaces. Good communications (texting) when an unplanned site activity (water outage) happened.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, quiet location, nice trees and convenient. The only negative were the bathrooms. They were clean, but in bad need of some maintenance. With some bathroom repair this would be a 10 out of 10 spot

This KOA was easy to get to and conviently located in Vernal. It was quiet, but also in the off season. We were disappointed with the up keep of the KOA. It wasn't well maintained. The lawns (mostly weeds) were not mowed or cared for. The latticed in the some sites were painted and maintained. It didn't feel clean and we tracked a lot of dirt on our trailer and we were there for one night.

We made the mistake of booking the Wilderness Tent in April to stay in with two small children. The bedding provided was inadequate for the cold overnight temperatures and the one small space heater was a joke. It would have been nice to have been warned by the employee who checked us in. Also, we didn’t realize that a road goes through the KOA to a trailer park, resulting in lots of traffic.

We had a great time. There was a cold front that came right before our stay. KOA called me and upgraded us to a lodge that had heat since we had kids with us. They were so kind to do that without charging us. The lodge was cute and my kids enjoyed the stay.

Stayed for about 6 months and everything was perfect. The hosts are awesome and everything was fantastic. Laundry facilities, garbage pick up utilities A1.

The office staff was wonderful! They cheerfully assessed and solved a problem then communicated it was fixed. As with many campgrounds this time of year repairs are being made to the campground in anticipation of the summer season. I am assuming that will include a couple potholes in the parking lot.

Lady in office very friendly and provided good information about the area. Pet friendly cabin needs some improvements especially the kitchen sink.

I would say being in the KOA network, it can be challenging: not many people are traveling in some areas so there isn't the income levels to maintain a park.

Beautiful camping area. The sites are well spaced giving you some privacy, the bathrooms are clean and showers seem large and adequate. There is plenty to do and our site even had a barbecue. The only downside is that the WiFi isn’t very strong and you can’t stream movies which while it wasn’t a problem would have been nice to know in advance.

We loved the setting and the friendly , helpful staff. We took advantage of the hot showers and the on-site laundry as well as getting our propane tank refilled. All hookups worked perfectly.

I like this KOA CG, my usual stop from home to points further south in Utah or Colorado. The only reason of not rating 5 this time, the internet connection at the B sites was not very reliable and spotty, luckily my neighbour let me have access to the Starlink system, which worked very nicely. FWIW, friendly office staff! Otherwise happy with the facilities. Will visit again. EJ from Jackson WY

It was very clean and nice but the low score is only because it was strange that most if not all of the other people staying there was actually living there. It felt strange.

We loved the proximity to various parks and destinations. The campground was well maintained and had a lot to offer for our family.

I appreciated the access to activities. But for the rate we paid I wouldn’t have expected to clean up so lush of other people’s dogs poop. At the camp site, and tons in the off leash area. The whole time we were there there wasn’t any poop bags in the dispenser and I imagine that’s why people weren’t cleaning up after themselves.

We spent the Easter weekend here and had a great experience. The in-laws & my brother rented a few of the cabins. They were clean and comfortable. We rented a non-patio RV pull in site. The site worked great though I’d recommend opting for a patio or larger back in site. The staff is the reason I’m giving a perfect score, they were amazing and even hosted an Easter egg hunt for the kids.

The owners and staff are kind, understanding and helpful. The sites are well kept. The bathroom is super clean and the showers have doors that make the space private along with a shower curtain to separate the shower from the changing area. This is a wonderful place to stay. It's not far from Dinosaur National Monument and also not too far from Flaming Gorge. The town of Vernal has much to offer as does this KOA!
