Awesome basecamp. Staff all very friendly and informative. They even gave us a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe shaded space. Pool, playground, mini-golf and jumping base were great for kids. Even had a dino scavenger hunt. My only critique is a lack of quick food staples in the store. Some cans of chili or boxes of Mac-n-chz, milk, eggs, etc would've helped.

Convenient bike ride to Vernal. Sites are clean and the grounds are well kept. A great place to stop over or to say awhile if you want to visit Dinosaur National Memorial.

Restrooms and showers need to be fixed. No hot water in women’s showers. A big party was thrown in the tent cabin. Cars parked everywhere; none of them had a park pass displayed. Loud people. Trash and clothes around the area in the morning. Hard to sleep when it’s next to you! They quieted around 10:30pm but we had to run our fans to cover the noise.

Too cheap to have even med temp water in shower. 70$for a place to park and we used no electricity... Only wanted a hot shower... Got it up to cool from cold. M and W, both.! And bathroom light shines in our window sll-night. Picnic tables covered in bird poop,unusable. All on the cheap. Worst KOA ever

Lovely spot l, down side was the trucks entering town would a use their engine breaks and TJ was annoying but not something that the campground can control.

Most disappointing KOA I have ever stayed at. We asked repeatedly to be moved closer to the pool and playground so that my 3 grandchildren could utilize those facilities. Check-in lady was downright rude about it. We later asked and was told that nothing was available only to see the following morning upon departure there were several open spaces closer. This KOA was pretty nice, as were the ppl who manage it. The pool looked beautiful from a distance; we didn't use it. The town of Vernal was a pleasant surprise, restaurants, museums, etc. The camp was a great place to walk to get the circulation going. There's a residential trailer park behind KOA that adds some thru-traffic, but the giant speed bumps help with that. A decent place all in all.

Paid too much for unpaved site and for not having cable. Pool hours in summer months are much too limited, need to be expanded to earlier in the morning and later in the evening. Overall not worth the cost.

As a Holiday I expected better your park is just ok. The site wasn’t level so I had to adjust my rig. And things should b paved for the price you charge. I will not be back and will not rec.

Very comfortable & quiet at night. The restroom/shower area I used could use a bit of a sprucing up, though it was kept reasonably clean, and the shower temperature and spray were lovely. The pool was good for playing in, but I would have appreciated longer hours.... it didn't open until 10am, so I couldn't get in a morning swim before our day's outing, nor was it open when I got back at night.

The front desk staff was excellent!! The store was well supplied. The pool was clean, but really needs more unbroken lawn chairs. Liked that they have activities for the kids. I do miss the days of doing big screen movies on the lawn.

We loved the area and campground was in the perfect location. Would havre preferred paved roads as dust was a big issue. Also the wooden boards as edging on some of the bigger sites was a real problem for longer rigs! We never saw the multiple types of bike rentals as advertised on website, which was disappointing. Thankful for the shade trees and pool:)

Real nice park. Nothing fancy; the "regular" pads are on dirt or gravel. But there is a pool, playground, miniature golf and a jumping pad. The sites were big enough and there was shade. We felt very relaxed there. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay in a deluxe cabin! The location was great, perfect for our visit to Dinosaur National Monument. Our cabin was the perfect size for our family of four that includes two teenage boys. The campground has lots of amenities including a pool our boys enjoyed. Highly recommended!

The fact that there were 2 buildings with bathrooms and showers was great. The fact that they were beside each other and not on opposite sides of the grounds was not. we were placed on the far end of the grounds from the restrooms/showers and having to walk that far in the dark at 3am was not fun. But this is not a thing that can be easily changed. Beyond that I had no issues.

Road noise is bad. Grounds are unkept. No lawn , if there is dry . Not pleasant to set out of your rig.

Nice stopping point on our way to Jackson, WY. It was also close to dinosaur national monument. We would stay again.

Great spots with shade! Pool is clean and cool. Kids loved the jumping pad and playground. Bathrooms were mostly clean and functioning. There is some noise from passing trucks on the rural route and there is some traffic through the campground from the mobile home park located at the back-side of the KOA.

Only problem was water in shower was never hot. Warm at best. Staff didn't seem to care. Location was good. Site was good.

Clean, level park with lots of shade and space. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Family enjoyed the putt putt, and playground. Great proximity to Dinosaur NM, which we enjoyed as well.

Another great KOA. Our whole stay was perfect. All of the staff was kind, friendly and personable. We were fortunate enough to stay on a weekend they had a fundraising pancake breakfast. WOW WOW WOW it was so good. The sites are large and the campground is in good condition. Highly recommend. Thank you KOA!

The Vernal KOA is our favorite KOA to visit. They are accommodating and helpful. We love the cabins that back up to the open grass area. It's fun to have a campfire and relax and night. The deluxe cabins have a shower but they have a great bath house.

This was our first time staying at a KOA and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very nice (recommending things to do) and accomodating when we wanted to stay another night. The campground was kept very clean. My toddler and baby enjoyed the pool. The only recommendation I would make is maybe they could update the playground with some newer playsets (Lifetime) and cover them from the sun.

Enjoyed our first time to the area. Our gravel site was partly shaded by a huge cottonwood tree and the laundry facility was nice and affordable. Entire park seemed to be clean, neat and easy to maneuver. Would stay here again if in the area.

RV park was full of OHV's. Lots of loud vehicles and highway noice.

Loved it here. Quite, well maintained, very helpful and friendly staff. Vernal has a lot to see and the entire area is full of natural beauty, state parks and Dinosaur National Monument
