We had a wonderful stay. The owners were so very helpful and friendly. Campground is clean. Spaces are wide enough that you have area to both sides for slides or chairs. They have lots of wooded area around the camp. Nice laundry facilities as well as showers. We wanted to stay an additional night and they worked to get us the same space for an additional night. Thanks for a wonderful experience

Nicely laid out. They kept the RV's spaced out. Looking at the online pictures I was under the impression that it was "wooded" more than it was so I was expecting to be in trees. I was in a gravel parking lot. Although there were some spaces that were wooded with fire pits I was the unlucky one. The friendly staff were always on the move making sure the place was clean and it was.

Awesome stay. Love all the improvements. WiFi was great then not so good. Other than that we had a great time. Will be back in August to set up fish camp

Such friendly staff! They make it a pleasure to stay there. I think the LP fill station was new, but is a very nice feature. We'll be back again next year!

The owners and staff were very nice and in my opinion their park was the best in Valdez, even though it rained most of the time we were there.

The staff was extremely accommodating and courteous. The grounds were well kept and the best park in Valdez, AK. I would recommend this location for your next getaway to Valdez.

Loved this KOA. Hosts were friendly and helpful, bathrooms were clean, and campground was perfectly located. Far enough from town to be peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to be able to enjoy Valdez.

Our Hostess did a wonderful job of telling us of things to see & do in Valdez. It was super clean and the showers had clean feet mats after every shower!

Easy to find...right off the highway. good access to Valdez. Helpful employees. lots of room to park a 42' fifth wheel.

Nice campground, very clean, and friendly hosts. We visited in mid-May, prior to the height of tourist season so it was quiet with plenty of room. If the campground were full it would be very crowded.

As usual, Laverne and Co is great!!! The campground is clean, beautiful and peaceful. This is our favorite place to stay, if it's open then that's where we're at when we visit Valdez.

Clean showers, towel on floor by shower was definitely a plus. Rate was a little high for what was there, no playground.

I'd love to see it eventually have septic. The new showers, laundry and gift shop are amazing. I loved the area before and appreciate the newer ammenties. The owners are the best!!

i paid 43.98 and did not get a military discount and did not have any wi-fi no internet at all al though they advertise it no impressed the camp ground was nice other than no wi-fi

Stayed extra night. Neat. Clean. Very friendly owners and staff. Great Showers. Consistant quality is why we prefer to stay at KOA. Why we went out of our way to come to Valdez was to stay at only KOA in Alaska. We were not disappointed.

We were there for 11 days. This is a new KOA - the owner is very pleasant and helpful. The entire campground was very clean and well tended, It was quiet and the views were spectacular. One suggestion would be to put a sign at the exit indicating which way to Valdez - the town. We kept getting turned around. Lots of things to see and do in Valdez which is very close.

It was a beautiful setting, surrounded by trees with the mountains in the background. The location was perfect it was out of town on the road going into Valdez. One of the nicest things for us was they had great TV! The bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of space for Rv and car, did not feel crowded.

This is our go to campground whenever we are in the area,specially the bathrooms,there always clean and warm when you go inside and towels for the floors too.

Location could be better, it's a bit out of town but on a big busy road. Prices are like all KOA campgrounds on the high price range but the service and the showers are beautiful, clean and warm.
