Only recommendation we would have would be to have dedicated handicap parking for the bathhouse. Was never an issue in prior years ... but now we're older lol.

My family always enjoys our time at this KOA. It has great rustic tent sites! The staff are friendly and helpful. They always seem glad to have us there. We love the location- close to Traverse City, but just far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the countryside.

Staff was awesome. Very polite and helpful. The store had coffee ready pretty much all day. Which was nice since we were in a rustic site. Only Complaint is Price for a rustic campsite is pretty steep but everything is High in price Now a days.

We had an amazing time!! We enjoyed camping there!! Our campsite was beautiful and spacious!! We really enjoyed being among all the trees!!! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and they were so friendly!! We had so much fun with all of the kid’s activities!!! Thank you for the good coffee every morning!!! Thank you for all your hard work to make it so special

We had an amazing time! Felt very appreciated and cared for. Extremely clean facilities and kind staff. Our last night people moved in very late and were very loud and rude about it. This however had nothing to do with the campground. Otherwise we had a wonderful experience

We had a great stay at the Traverse City KOA. We were greeted with a warm welcome when we pulled in and had many amenities for the adults and kids in our group. It was a great stay and we wished we would have stayed longer!

The staff was phenomenal, and everything was clean and well maintained even on a busy holiday weekend! My kids had a blast with all the different activities. The tent sites were very large, well shaded and offered the prefect amount of seclusion. Would definitely recommend.

Pros- Very nice and clean. Friendly staff. Many amenities. Cons- quite time didn't seemed to be enforced. Children running through campsites that were not theirs. Children tuning bathroom lights. On and off while they giggled about it. Children pounding on shower doors while in use by others.

Very spacious tent sites, love the pool and very clean bathrooms. We did have a racoon enter our area and take some food, but everything else was perfect!

This is my favorite KOA! I appreciate that the owners have kept some nice, shaded, and secluded tent sites. So many KOA campgrounds have very few tent sites and they are often out in an open field or by the restrooms or playground. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The campground is well monitored and guests are spoken to if they or their pets are disturbing other campers.

On our journey this KOA was a wonderful oasis. We enjoyed the pool and the staff was very helpful and answered our questions. The only struggle was the traffic which never seemed to stop. This was not a negative just something which others need to be aware.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, the bathroom and pool areas were clean, and there was plenty to do to keep my child entertained. What more could I ask for?

I booked about a month ago and was able to get the same site as last year. Our kids love staying at Traverse City KOA, you guys do an awesome job providing things for the kids to do while we stay. Campground is always clean and so are the showers and bathrooms. We will be back again next year and bringing more friends to camp along with us.

As always the campsite staff are very helpful and friendly. The facilities were kept clean and well stocked. The morning and afternoon train rides are something the kids look forward to every time we come. They also love the craft time . We’ve been coming for four years because this place is great for kids and families.

We’ve been visiting Traverse City KOA almost every summer since 2014 (took mystery summer off 2020) always so appreciative of the cleanliness of sites, grounds and bathhouse, and the welcoming environment there. Everyone on staff is always helpful & attentive. Can’t think of a better camping experience we’ve ever had than here. That’s why we return every summer on our one week off from

Had a great time, nice people, clean and lots of activities for kids. Only down fall was the campground lost power and they did not have a back up generator to run the well pump for shower. A small inconvenience but would be a good thing to have for any future power outages.

Friendly clean safe quiet. We loved it , not far from some of our new favorite destinations Torch Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City was lovely too! Will come back again on a weekend get away!

Tented. Site was large enough for my boat and vehicle. Nice sandy pad for tent. Perfect tent site. Bathrooms very satisfactory. Appreciated the electronic check in. I did experience a backup coming back into camp one day and almost ended up sitting on M-37. Might need to ensure vehicles with campers checking in have room to get off highway and maybe a quick bypass for already registered guests.

My wife and I enjoyed are stay,the staff was very polite.The bathrooms were very clean, the only issue I had was the shower stalls were a bit small.Other than that great stay,would stay again.

We camped at the Traverse City KOA with about 40 others for our family reunion. The KOA provided many activities for the children, and has a wonderful playground. The sites are large, and ours were shaded. The property is beautiful and quiet. There are many options for lodging. The bathrooms were cleaned frequently during the day - and were air conditioned! We will come back next year.

Great campground for people of all ages. Clean bathrooms, small store. Lots of play area for kids. Nice pool area. Friendly owners and employees. Full hookups with some cement patos. Short drive to Traverse City area. Will camp here again and bring grandkids. Have nice cabins to stay in, also.
