As always with a KOA, first class people, accommodations, and a beautiful park! They went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and comfortable.

Too expensive.

Too many rules, only one bathroom house with showers, men’s bathroom only has three stalls and one urinal! Can’t walk around with my beer, tent sites are all dirt!

We were just traveling through for the night, but the campground was very nice, quiet, & clean. And the staff was friendly and helpful.

Cabin was not very clean, heavy cobwebs above cupboards and behind tv, bathroom shelves and table were very dirty. Bed mattress was terrible: was like a waterbed. Staff was very friendly and campground was clean.

We tent camped and had a great spot. Great location to explore all of Michigan. Only complaint is we wish there was another bathroom facility in the back of the park.

Everything was so clean, there were tons of things for families and kids to do and the staff was beyond friendly and timely. The wood and ice drop off and trash pick-up was luxurious! I do wish the tent sites had privacy foliage in between campsites. It felt exposed and was easy to hear even whispered conversations by your neighbors.

fee for fdirewood was rediculous. 10 for a small bundle of wet wood, they insisted on delivering it.

We LOVED the KOA at Traverse City - the amenities were wonderful and clean! We really appreciated the trash pickup service and the option for delivery of ice, firewood, or even pizza! The only thing we would’ve changed was the location as we wished it was closer to the actual Traverse City & Sleeping Bear Dunes (the places we came to visit), but it wasn’t a terribly far drive from either!

We had such a great time with our neighborhood group. My biggest recommendation would be to add an additional bathroom at the back of the campground. The other thing that would be next level would be a splash pad for littles. Otherwise we loved our campsite (tent A) and all the activities especially the train ride, foam party, pool, crafts, etc. Thanks for a great weekend!

Friendly staff! Pool was a bit too dirty and cold for the kids. Everything shuts down when the office closes at 8pm, even though it’s still daylight which was a disadvantage.

We enjoyed most things about the Traverse City KOA. The staff were all very friendly, the pool was well maintained, the bathrooms were clean, and the kids had a blast driving their remote control cars on the RC track. However, the road noise from M37 was loud and constant so it really detracted from the camping experience.

We had a wonderful stay. It was disappointing that they charged my parents $20 just to visit our campsite. Especially when most attractions are closed for the season, charging $20 for them to drive in, sit at our campsite for an hour and then leave is ridiculous. I understand day passes, or using the pool and many other activities, but nearly everything was closed for the season, why still charge?

Great secluded campsite, very quiet at night, close to some good restaurants and downtown Traverse city without being to close, AMAZING hot shower and the staff was oh so friendly and knowledgeable about where to find Petoskey syinrs and other sightseeing adventures ... I'll definitely return ϋ

We were camping as a family for the first time with our 7 year old daughter. Larry drove us to our site and was very friendly. The whole staff was amazing and went above and beyond! There was so much for our daughter to do! The bathrooms were extremely clean and hot water was a nice surprise. We’d never stayed at a KOA before, but I’m not sure we will be able to NOT stay at one on future campi

Our tent site was huge, and we really liked the site. Camp store was very nice. The pool needed a little tlc. The putt putt was definitely lacking. We had a terrible time at night due to insanely unruly guests in the site next to us. I’ve never experienced such loud and obnoxious behavior in a campground ever in my life. It was extreme. At 3-4 in the morning. Needs to be some night guard.

We truly enjoyed our visit. Our tent site had plenty of space and privacy. The facilities were well maintained. The staff members were friendly and helpful.

The KOA of Traverse was a very nice place to spend with the grandkids. I really liked the amenities offered for the kids, they live the wiggly train. The only down side was the Very Strict Quiet Time that started at 10:00 pm - it is barely dark at 10, kids cannot be expected to go from being kids to absolute strict quiet at an exact time and 10 is too early for summer vacation time!

We celebrated a wedding anniversary with family during our stay. We really loved the amenities and cleanliness of the facility. Had an amazing time. I would like to say that some of the staff had attitudes towards some of us in our party. I am not sure why. They continually texted me throughout the day the rules and times of things (like quiet time) and I believe that we followed them

Very nice campground with alot of entertainment for the kids. We rented the deluxe cabin that could sleep 6. Trust me when I say the top bunk is Not for Baby Boomers! 😆 Other than that I would definitely rent it again.

Beautiful grounds with quiet atmosphere, pool, huge park, beautiful flowers. Very clean and comfortable in the cabins. There is a microwave and fridge in the 4 person cabins. Free s'mores event int he evenings and very safe! We loved our stay and would absolutely return

The campground has been expanded and has a LOT of pull through sites. We had a wooded back in site and it was GREAT. We didnt have time to enjoy the pool, but the kids loved the bounce pillow, playground and train ride that they had over the weekend! No issues with the site (call ahead if you dont have a bathroom in your camper to make sure youre closer to the showerhouse like I did). Employees were extremely friendly and very helpful. Great location to travel all around upper Michigan!
