We were located in the new section of the facility. We were out viewing the local areas and received a text message that the water was off in the entire section. When we returned the staff was working on the issue. Bottom line the water was off from 2:00 PM until Midnight. There were minimal updates. Also the management made no offer of compensation for the outage.

Nice campground with very friendly staff. Liked that it was on the smaller side. Our tentside had a lot of shade which was great.

Our site was shady and nice, but too close to the main road. Very noisey! The road noise definitely detracted from the campfire time and sleeping time.

Hands down one of the BEST experiences we’ve had at a campground! Friendly, hard working staff and a well-maintained facility. The new sites they’ve added are beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This location went out of their way to accommodate our length. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this location and if ever in the area would stay again.

We elected to stay in a spot nestled in the trees toward the back of the campground vs. the spot next to the road. Good choice just needed bug spray.

We enjoyed the park and everything seemed nice. It was nice to see the new areas going in. It would be nice to see more kids activities added as well, and things updated. My only complaint is we were staying with other softball families. A site next to another family was open before we got there and we asked to be next to them but were told it was booked. Then it sat empty the entire weekend.

All the staff were outstanding! They kept me updated throughout the day with their texts so I wouldn't miss a thing going on!!! I would definitely stay again, maybe even as a seasonal resident!!!

People were very friendly. Reserved and paid for a patio site with a paw pen. Supposedly 2 available at making reservation. However, they only have one paw pen site and was already occupied. Was in new section that truly wasn’t ready at all…water issues, generators running the area, no shade, no grass.

A VERY nice campground with a FANTASTIC staff. We're already making plans to return to the area for a week (or more) next year. We'll definitely be pulling our motorhome into this campground for our stay!

Nice operation from hello, to hospitality and campgrounds. They were adding a more campsites and newer buildings but he existing sites were well kept with ample shade. We've stayed at campgrounds where they rack and stack folks so close that if one site farts the other smells it to maximize profit but ruin the family feel. Hope they avoid that, we will be back to see. Great stay.

The site was nice but there was construction going on all day until 8 pm at night. The back up beeping on trucks drove us crazy all day. Also, they were spreading topsoil on the 50 or more new sites that had a terrible odor. They even worked on a Sunday. I'm sure once construction is done it will be a very nice experience but, for us and the money we paid it was very annoying.

Outstanding 4 night stay. Very nice camp site with full hookups. Exceedingly helpful and friendly staff. Clean and quiet. Pool, playground, bathroom facilities all very nice. Have stayed there before and will return again.

Campground undergoing major construction; very noisy. Other sites were open, but we were put on the edge of the construction, with constant noise, big trucks, and backup warning noises, from 8:00 a.m. - past 5:00 p.m. We were very surprised to see a camper with two Dobermans that acted very aggressively. The man controlled the dogs by kicking them and yelling at them when they lunged at people.

It is a beautiful campground. It was unfortunate that the construction was very noisy during the day. There was more than a little dust. It smelled like manure.

It was a very nice campground, the only thing the bundle of wood was mostly bark not a good mixture for a campfire.

On our way to the campground we received a text that E-bikes are restricted and not allowed. Crazy. My wife went to the restroom and they don't provide toilet paper. They said they had vandalism so no more toilet paper. Really? The whole back of the park is under construction and a dust bowl with large grading equipment. We had "back-up" alarms going all day long.

They were working late into the evening and kicking up lots of dust. We could not enjoy the camping at all. We were very disappointed with our stay.

Very disappointed in the camp store hours. Everything closes at 5pm, the pool, firewood, and the jump pillow were all shut down around that time. I can understand the construction equipment, because of the expansion. But it would have been nice if they had stopped at 6, instead of 8:30. I have stayed here many times. This was a little bit of a let down.

The campground has been expanded and has a LOT of pull through sites. We had a wooded back in site and it was GREAT. We didnt have time to enjoy the pool, but the kids loved the bounce pillow, playground and train ride that they had over the weekend! No issues with the site (call ahead if you dont have a bathroom in your camper to make sure youre closer to the showerhouse like I did). Employees were extremely friendly and very helpful. Great location to travel all around upper Michigan!

As with most KOA's service is always impeccable. The texting svc is so convenient. We were there for work not holiday so sadly were unable to participate in the activities. Rooms were clean (floors not so much) comfortable, and gave us just what we needed. We do wish there was a place to wash our dishes & utensils nearer to our cabin. We felt safe and quiet hours were respected. We always felt like someone was available in case we needed them for any reason & our questions were always answered with kindness & enthusiasm. Would absolutely recommend
