We loved the campground….from the friendly staff, to the sites, to the amenities. We used to stay at Traverse City State Park, but we won’t be doing that anymore. We will be coming here.

Rented a cabin for a few days… we had to sweep the floor right away, there was trash in the bathroom that was missed, the bedding was dirty, air vents extremely dirty, water pressure was not good, shower drain partially clogged and beds weren’t really comfortable. Overall it was disappointing for the amount you spend and we just left the St ignace KOA which was much cleaner and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay! Our campsite was beautifully treed and close to all the essentials! The Staff was always very helpful and cordial. We used the propane tank fill-up, and they delivered it to our site! We love the Traverse City area!

The staff were incredibly friendly, supportive, and helpful with firewood delivery, helpful tips of the area, and the cleanliness of not only the campground, but our cabin as well were amazing!!! Thank you!!!

During my stay I witnessed a manager who not only did not like the guests, but also the staff and children. I watched her belittle staff, make rude comments about staff & guests to the guest. I witnessed her throw her phone in annoyance when I guest had asked to get wood delivered during a power outage.

When we arrived to check in on Sunday we were told we couldn't use the water, because it had not passed testing. They gave us 1 gallon of water to use. We asked for another gallon of water the next morning and we did receive 1 gallon. They told me I could fill up the jugs at a vacant site in a section not on the same well. Finally on Tuesday afternoon we're we able to hook up. No discount offered.

We really liked our site, a patio with furniture and a gravel drive. However, we thought the basic sites around us were poorly maintained. The road to the office and roads into the campground were rough and need gravel and pothole management. It was raining and the potholes were filled with water. The office staff were helpful and friendly. There are many amenities and entertainments.

Everything was so clean, there were tons of things for families and kids to do and the staff was beyond friendly and timely. The wood and ice drop off and trash pick-up was luxurious! I do wish the tent sites had privacy foliage in between campsites. It felt exposed and was easy to hear even whispered conversations by your neighbors.

Great location, nice size sites, nice staff, friendly, great for kids, nice pool, nice activities, well organized, great home made pizza at store delivered to site, good store sipplies, both shady and sunny spots, big rig friendly, nice premium sites, RC track, meets KOA expectations.

Very clean campground. Pool and playground were well maintained and clean. Staff were very visible and friendly. Communications via text about activities and approaching quiet time were appreciated.

We were there for a long weekend. We were up that way to help daughter at her house. But it is a nice quiet campground. Friendly and helpful staff.

WiFi service was terrible, pool had way too much chlorine. But otherwise staff - every single person we met was super kind- especially the gentleman that helped park us- that reason alone we will be back. Would stay here again as there is a lot to do in the area.

I was a little concerned about the site since we typically use Google satellite view to scope out Campgrounds but obviously this park was expanded and the satellite view hasn't updated. We were very please with our spacious and open site with plenty of clear sky for starlink. The well stocked general store made it so we didn't have to go into town as much.

Well, everything was great until they notified us that their well water had coliform. RATS! I don’t remember if I put water into the freshwater tank at this site two days ago or not. They tried to be as nice about it as possible and gave us a gallon of drinking water and told us that the water at the bathhouse was fine to refill the jug.

We had a great time! So much for the kids to do! We ended up with a site close to the road and I asked to change sites because of our kids and they were so helpful and got us a site close to the playground! We will definitely be back!

Although weather was not ideal the park is very well maintained and staff is super friendly. the new area is nice but trees are still small so be prepared for the sun !

It was a pleasure staying here. We travel around the country, stay in mostly KOA campgrounds. This campground was so organized, clean, super friendly staff both in and out of the office. Offered many options/events for the kids, even though we do not have any. It was awesome they had these events and facilities to enjoy their time here too. Wonderful level sites, convenient location. Thanks .

The campground and staff were awesome. Nothing but good things to say. I do think you need an additional restroom and showers out in the pull through sites though. The single facility by the office is a little small and crowded with so many campers. Other than that, top notch.

Water system at the campground failed, and they found Coliform bacteria in the water supply! We had no option to get water other than by the bucket or bottle for a faucet in the bathhouse. I added 10 gallons to my fresh water tank contaminating it, so I have had to drain it and sanitize it while traveling.

Road was closed so we had to take a road that I weight limit was way too high. They should have sent something out with directions. It would have been much better. The internet kept going on and off and couldn’t get it on my tv. Had starling but too many trees. If you are a large rig then watch your site, there are trees and rocks that are basically in the way for a big rig to maneuver.

As with most KOA's service is always impeccable. The texting svc is so convenient. We were there for work not holiday so sadly were unable to participate in the activities. Rooms were clean (floors not so much) comfortable, and gave us just what we needed. We do wish there was a place to wash our dishes & utensils nearer to our cabin. We felt safe and quiet hours were respected. We always felt like someone was available in case we needed them for any reason & our questions were always answered with kindness & enthusiasm. Would absolutely recommend
