We were on a back in site which was roomy and pleasant. Laundry equipment was out of service, and (1) only bath house was disgusting and not clean. Pool was nice. Parking part of site was stoned and solid. Lots of sand.

We spent 2 nights and found the campground to be everything we could want. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Campground and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. I was surprised that there were no recycling bins so we took our recyclables home. I feel like these days that should be a must.

Beautiful campground!!! Each site was large and FLAT. That makes a huge difference for our rig. Very nice people who run it. And couldn't believe how clean everything is. Our site had mature trees. Lots of fun things for kids. And a dog park! It was a real pleasure to camp there!

Staff was very helpful. Campground was neat and clean. Rules about the campground were texted daily. We were disappointed that our family came across the state for a dinner with us at our RV, but it would have cost them $75.00 just to sit at our site for a cookout. And we were planning on having them over for breakfast the next day, but again the total would have been $75.00 for them for that too,

The KOA was clean and comfortable and nice camp site. A bit over priced for what we received. The stove only had one working burner and you had to look that it with your own lighter. The fire wood at the camp site was over priced too. Not sure if I would stay again.

We truly enjoyed our visit. Our tent site had plenty of space and privacy. The facilities were well maintained. The staff members were friendly and helpful.

This is the 3rd consecutive summer we have stayed here. We were disappointed that the train and kids activities did not happen daily. The crafts were nothing like they were before. We were disappointed everyone in our group was charged $25 extra for being a group and were not placed in same area. This seems unfair for bringing extra business to you. The pull-out couch was very uncomfortable. The bathroom tub would clog all the time. There was no umbrella for our outside table. The trash bags were terrible in the cabin; we had to go buy some. For the price we paid, I expected more. The park should pave more roads for dog walking. The staff was nice.

Wonderful stay, great cabin. The Store could be a little nicer/well stocked- and the bathroom/showers were not very nice/clean. Also need another bathhouse.

Very unhappy that you charged us an additional $25 for asking to be by the Ciosek party, and we were ELEVEN campsites away! Ridiculous! Then you charged a friend $20 to park for the day. We will not be back!

Great Stay! Great weather, very clean, well kept friendly staff campground. had neighbors with 4 dogs whom barked at everything! Other than that, had a wonderful stay! Great location to be in center of activities.

We chose a KOA after camping last year at a resort in Lake Shafer, IN that connected to a KOA. The bathrooms were cleaner, there was more for the kids to do. We were not disappointed. The kids had a great time using the pool, playground (especially the jump pad), and playing giant chess. The staff at the store was friendly and helpful. If I camp that way again, I would absolutely stay there again!

Camped near some lakes I like to fish. Our site was good size. Appreciated the layout of the camp. Bathrooms were always clean. No complaints about anything. Great park!!

The campground was great we stayed towards the front and was Bug FREE! Only reason it is not a 5* is the sites were a little close for my comfort. We have stayed before and will stay again.

We were their for 4 nights. The grounds were beautifully kept, clean bathrooms, Nice pool area, didn't experience a "heated " pool though. Mini golf was disappointing, a little pricey for what it was. Overall a great stay...we'll be back!

Great Location. Our site was good, the gravel was a little narrow but it was quite long, unfortunately a tree interfered with our slide so we couldn't back all the way in. Nice concrete patio with a glider and table/chairs. Convenient to have garbage pickup at site. Only negative-- guests set up behind us walked through our site several times.

The KOA of Traverse was a very nice place to spend with the grandkids. I really liked the amenities offered for the kids, they live the wiggly train. The only down side was the Very Strict Quiet Time that started at 10:00 pm - it is barely dark at 10, kids cannot be expected to go from being kids to absolute strict quiet at an exact time and 10 is too early for summer vacation time!

Considering cost of cabin is more than Hampton Inn I expect a better mattress than what is provided. HORRIBLE Lack of WiFi and bandwidth. Frequently Unable to connect. Charged excess dirty fee of $35 upon check-out but upon our arrival floors were covered with gravel/dirt, I could not walk barefoot inside. No doormats. No bed linens, pillows/towels which were requested in advance and paid for.

We have stayed here for approximately the last 5 years. We always bring our granddaughter who is 8 this year. She says it’s her favorite place to go. The pool, playground and Gaga ball pit are her favorite things. The park and bath house are always clean and the staff is friendly. My only negative is the speed of some of the guests, and the golf carts. Overall though, it’s a great place!!

We are repeat customers of the Traverse City KOA because it is very clean. The past 3 visits we stayed in the deluxe cabins, they are nice! We would give this visit 5-stars, but had 2 issues: the 'on-demand' hot water in the shower malfunctioned, the manager did get it working for our 4-day stay but said the control needed replacing. And the mattress sagged badly. We will stay here again!

This place is very nice! It is clean, beautifully landscaped, and our cabin exceeded our expectations. There are many fun events for the kids. It feels safe. The staff is very friendly and seem like they genuinely enjoy their jobs. GREAT STAY!

This was a great little place to camp! Everyone who worked there was amazing! They delivered pizza, ice and wood right to your site! There’sa swimming pool, RC track and super close to Traverse City!! The only downfall was 1 bathroom.

The campground has been expanded and has a LOT of pull through sites. We had a wooded back in site and it was GREAT. We didnt have time to enjoy the pool, but the kids loved the bounce pillow, playground and train ride that they had over the weekend! No issues with the site (call ahead if you dont have a bathroom in your camper to make sure youre closer to the showerhouse like I did). Employees were extremely friendly and very helpful. Great location to travel all around upper Michigan!

As with most KOA's service is always impeccable. The texting svc is so convenient. We were there for work not holiday so sadly were unable to participate in the activities. Rooms were clean (floors not so much) comfortable, and gave us just what we needed. We do wish there was a place to wash our dishes & utensils nearer to our cabin. We felt safe and quiet hours were respected. We always felt like someone was available in case we needed them for any reason & our questions were always answered with kindness & enthusiasm. Would absolutely recommend
