We stayed over Easter weekend and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The crafts and egg hunt were so much fun, even for my 2 older children (which the staff graciously allowed to participate). We can't wait for the summer activities like Bingo & tie dye!

We had a wonderful trip. What a well maintained campground and such friendly and helpful staff. Especially Jeff who went above and beyond to accomodate us. He even helped with an electrical problem we were having with our camper on checkout day. Thank you Jeff. You are a great example of how people in this world should be.

We had an excellent experience at the Townsend KOA. Very friendly staff, clean facilities and lots of fun for the kids. We will definitely be returning.

Upon arrival no power at my site. I was dissapointed that this was not checked prior to my arrival as each power pedestal has an exterior light. Easy to see that that this site power not functioning. Also bathrooms were filthy most of the time not stocked. Many times out of soap and tp. For what they charge a clean Bathroom should be part of the deal. Otherwise great location & staff was nice

We had the absolute best time at Townsend/Great Smokies KOA! We cannot wait to come back. Everyone was so helpful and friendly, the sites were beautiful and the whole campground was so well thought out! Our kids LOVED the playground and the Easter egg hunt! We rented bikes, explored Townsend and loved being so close to Cade Cove. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Wonderful campground. The store could stay open later but overall great place. Bathrooms are clean Staff were super nice and helpful. Great pleace for families.

Beautiful patio and river sites and friendly staff. The ebike rentals were great for riding into town. So close to Cade's cove. Love the peaceful side of the Smokies!

Always neat and tidy at the campsite. There was a wind storm the night we arrived and the crew was diligently picking up sticks the whole next morning. Playground is fantastic!

Staff was extremely accommodating on our two night stay. All facilities and campground were kept extremely clean. I would pick a different site due to size and accessibility for a large travel trailer, but definitely plan to return.

Beautiful campground. Beautiful cabins. Great amenities. Close to many hiking trails and restaurants. Townend is a nice town that is not over crowded but has plenty to do.

Such a fun, relaxing place to stay! I really enjoyed being in Townsend and away from the craziness of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. From this location, you could drive 30 minutes to either city but didn’t have to deal with the noise of either. The facilities were clean and cleaned daily. The staff were so friendly and informative. I will definitely be back soon. Thank you for a great time!

We had a great time, campground was beautiful, sites were well kept and spacious, staff went above and beyond. My kids loved the playground! We will definitely be back this summer! Shout out to Jeff for helping me get the camper parked perfectly.

Our cabin location was beautiful! I loved being able to sit in the swing and enjoy a campfire while looking out at the river. I also loved the cabin decor! Those little extra touches made a big difference. WiFi was great too! I definitely hope to come back someday!

It was good but it would be nice if you had some handicap parking by the dog park since we got told we couldn’t park by it, even though we have a veteran disability tag and was not blocking anyone.

Many improvements have been made to the campground since out last stay. Staff in the office were great. Mary you are a great staff member to have on their team. Bathrooms were clear and updated. Your INTERNET has got to go, Tango Internet has been the worst Internet provider I have come across, Many visitors complained.

We stayed on a cabin (Unexpectedly) after our camper broke down. Mary, who helped me rebook in the office was fabulous in assisting me. The cabin was very clean and great for our 3 night stay.

We had such a fabulous time at this KOA. The staff were so nice and greeted us immediately. The KOA itself was clean, tidy and spacious. The site was easy to navigate and less than 3 miles from the park. The river behind the KOA was serene. The RV spaces were the best we had seen. 1 thing we wish was better was the puppy pen. It was almost all mud. We wish it was turf or mulch. Such a great site!!

Beautiful, well-kept grounds. Private feeling with all the landscaping. The free backup Jeff marriage saving service is wonderful!� Staff are very friendly and helpful. Campsite 85 is narrow. Exit is also very narrow.

Cades cove is a great place to go and enjoy nature at its best, pigeon forge has a lot of wonderful stores and amusement parks along the strip

This is a "Holiday" KOA so it has amenities for campers who stay away and look for entertainment. It is just outside and entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The "Little River" flows by the edge of the campground then into the National Park. some sites back up to the river. There are many trees in the campground. The bathroom and other building facilities are dated in design but clean, neat and spotless in appearance. I feel the whole campground is well maintained. I have a high-end site, $100/night but I like the space. All sites are gravel. Mine was in excellent condition. Very quiet at night. No AT&T cell service but the campground WiFi worked very well all the time.
