All the staff are so friendly and helpful! The restrooms and grounds are kept clean and well managed. A wonderful place to stay on the Tocooa river and convenient to downtown restaurants and shops.

It was a very quiet relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very nice and attentive to our needs. I had a cabin on the river which was a pretty view. The cabin was extremely nice. It was roomy the temperature stayed perfect and the beds were wonderful. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

We absolutely LOVE this campground, it's super clean, great location, on the Toccoa River, absolutely beautiful! Highly Highly Highly recommend!

It was great. If I could recommend anything it would be to change the commode in the bathroom.

We came for a getaway. We had a wonderful time. Very clean. Close to Dahlonega and Helen. We stayed in a cabin. Everything you need. We will go back and tell our friends. Thank you KOA never a disappointment.

We came during the off season and it was a beautiful campground. We stayed right by the river so it was nice to wake up and look out our windows. The staff we encountered were all super friendly and kind to our kids. They had amenities and a good playground for them as well.

Our family met with other family to visit and explore the Blue Ridge, GA area. We had a wonderful time, and so enjoyed the hospitality of the KOA staff. They enabled our family cabins to be close together, and had a pet-friendly option too! There is so much to do in the area, that we plan to return. The cabin was spotless, warm, and scenic with the river. Nice laundry, too. Thank you, KOA!

This is the absolute cleanest campground I've ever visited. So convenient to all Blue Ridge has to offer. Nice blacktop roads and spacious sites. Couldn't ask for more in the cabins. A++++

This was my first time staying at a KOA site. The experience exceeded my expectations. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, before and during the stay. The cabin was very clean and perfect for what we needed. Everything was as described by the website and the people we spoke to over the phone. I will absolutely stay at KOA sites in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. Cabin 65 was perfect for my family. We loved being on the river and having lots of room for our children to play. Only dislike was being called and told our reservation would be considered a no show if we did not show up at 11 am. That was not explained to us when booking or when we explained we would be a day later.

Very nice and quiet.Stayed in the cabins . It was very clean and had everything I needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing they need is a little more lighting to walk my dog.

Rented a tent spot. The 1st day it rained so hard it flooded our campsite and the inside of the tent. We had to find somewhere else to stay. Luckily there was a cabin available. The cabin was nice and the staff was friendly. We were not happy about having to spend the extra money for a cabin. I wish we were given a discount for having to stay in cabin bc the of the flooded campsite and tent.

Our cabin was ok but we told them we didn’t have bedding for the sofa and they kept saying it was there even though I was in the cabin telling them this. They charged us for extra people but we had the allowed amount. Very miserly attitude at check in. Impossible to reach anyone after hours. Sorry we will not be back.

Fantastic campground with a very supportive staff. Well laid out and didn't feel cramped or packed in even when pretty full. We stayed in one of the small cabins next to to the Toccoa River which were perfect for our stay. Very clean and the A/C worked well even in the hot temperatures. Check in/out was simple and quick.

Made a last minute reservation of a stay at Blue Ridge/ Toccoa River KOA for myself and dog and was very impressed with the office staff, cleaniness of the cabin and the grounds. I would like to recommend that there be a broom and dust pan in the cabins to be able to do a quick clean up for any grass and dirt that may have been brought in, especially with a dog.

Highway noise and a lack of mature tree coverage are not ideal. This campground is more appropriate for old people from Florida that sit inside their motor homes all day with the HVAC on. Also, preventing guests from charging EVs because “the pedestals can’t handle it” is either a lie, or an admission that the electrical infrastructure is not up to code. RVs and trailers are plugged in 24/7

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We appreciate you staying with us and wish we had been asked about EV charging. EV charges require continuous flow pedestals, which are different from those required by campers. Campers do not require a continual electrical flow. All of our infrastructure meets the national electrical code.

The bathrooms were a nice size and the KOA is only 5 years young. It lies next to the river which was low when visiting. There is a pool, didn't use. People friendly. Not much to do in the area and I couldn't find a bicycle or hiking trails during my short visit. It was a bit out of my way to visit this area, thought it would have more area activities or attractions. There were children during my stay who were loud until dark. Then when they left, it was more peaceful. It's gated and requires a code. Bathrooms & showers require a code also.

Beautiful campground and wonderful staff. Can't wait to come back. Site P3 is the bomb. Backs up to the Toccoa River and has a killer private dog park. The camp store has all kinds of RV items in case you forgot something or want something to make your life easier. It also has popsicles and cute souvenirs.

Great KOA! The campsites are large and maintained well. They have options to store items in a locked lot with surveillance, for a reasonable price. The staff are helpful and very nice.
