I booked online as website said only three sites available, and they were only the expense sites. I mentioned this when we checked in and paid for our stay. She did not replay to the fact that they had other sites. We were shown to our site and I mentioned the fact that no one was here and we got one of last sites. He said I do not know anything about that. I felt DUPED!

We are sorry to hear that this happened. We wish that you had come up to the office after checking in to ask about available sites. You chose a KOA Patio site online; this is our most expensive site. We would have been happy to accommodate your needs had we known. We'll call you.

Very nice campground. Very clean, we had a paved pull through site but even the gravel sites are pretty level. Bathhouse is modern and clean. Food trucks and music on weekends. Everyone who works there have always been super nice. It’s a good location for visiting the town of Blue Ridge and surrounding areas.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We pride ourselves on being a vacation spot. Bringing a trailer full of trash and debris into the park and parking cars on the grass detract from the overall appearance of our park. We're sorry that you are upset at staff because we stopped you to reiterate these policies.

Wonderful stay, as always! Staff are so so friendly, bathhouse is so very clean. Love this place. If I had anything bad to say which I DONT, they just need a few more things for the kids being it’s a KOA Holiday. Maybe a jump pad or something. Love everything you have added so far though. Keep being amazing!!!

Clean, friendly and welcoming environment. Very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. Only disappointment was the emptying of the dumpster at 4:30 in the morning. I expected better from an upscale campground.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. While we wish we could control when Waste Management picks up, we unfortunately cannot. We have contacted Waste Management in the hopes that they realize they cannot pick up this early in our campground. We do hope you will come back and visit us again.

We enjoyed our stay at this KOA. Being able to walk along the Toccoa River is nice. Our granddaughter and I enjoyed getting our feet in the water. Very clean restrooms and laundry room. We were able to visit nearby towns as well. We camped along the Toccoa River in a travel trailer. Our site had enough room for our Truck, car, and 30’ travel trailer. We will stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities were nice- well set up and neatly kept. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We loved being near the river and our little dogs enjoyed the fenced in Kamp K9. We missed having a shady spot but the trees that have recently been planted at each site will eventually provide shade. We look forward to going back to this KOA campground.

The park was incredibly well kept. I love the River path that wasn’t too challenging for me, with a cane. I appreciated a couple of calls prior to our stay—made me feel anticipated and welcomed. Only slight negative was that it was very tricky getting level on our site. Not all gravel sites are that way. It may have been new gravel.

Everyone goes above and beyond to accommodate!! We’ve stayed at many campgrounds through the years and by far the staff at KOA Blue Ridge are the nicest and most professional. It’s nice to feel at home and welcome!!

Our favorite place to camp! Staff is always friendly and helpful. Grounds are kept immaculate. Bath house always clean. Nice pool area. Best quiet and peaceful place to get away. You won’t be disappointed!

Very nice, small campground. The gravel sites are level, and spacious. The bathrooms were clean and the laundry as well. The pool was closed for the season, so I cannot speak to that. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful. The nearest grocery is only a mile away, and downtown Blue Ridge only 2 miles away.

The place was average at best. No shade and the river has no real access for kayaks to be put. The host grounds keeper told us the manager was very upset we parked in another site to put our kayaks in the river. The site was vacant and only about ten of ninety sites had someone. He ruined our vacation. Not use to being talked to that way. Very upsetting. The river was risky the way it rises too.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do have two river access stairs that campers put kayaks in all the time. We had a camper coming into the site that you left your vehicle in all day, and are sorry to hear that this caused you to not enjoy your stay. The dam is TVA controlled and we cannot control when water is released.

Great Central location for exploring the area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is modern, clean and well maintained. Fairly quiet, just a little muffled road noise. Would stay again

Great cabin for our 3 night weekend. It was furnished with all we needed and cleaned before we arrived. The check in and out processes were great! Blue Ridge is a beautiful area for outdoor activities with plenty to do around town as well.

We just completed our 3 trip to this wonderful campground during Mother's Day week. We actually had 7 other friends and family camping around us. They worked really hard to make sure we were together especially fro the one that did not lock their sites in. We stayed on one of the river sites and it was a fantastic location. The staff went over and above to make our stay great! We will be back.

We camped with our RV for four nights at the Holiday KOA Blue Ridge. The full-hookup sites are amazing and security is a priority. We had a riverside site with a concrete pad so we had a wonderful view. The campground is super clean and tidy. There are great helpers to ask questions and assist with parking your camper. I do wonder about the tearing down of trees, mulching, grading, and road work happening on the other side of the river from the campground . There was noise from this activity during the week so be aware. Hopefully whatever is being done will not take away from the tranquility of this hidden gem.
