Too many dirt roads everytime a golf cart or car went by dirt went every where. Also got windy and dirt went flying everywhere. Constantly had dirt in my eyes. My truck and trailer are covered in dirt. If roads are graveled or paved would have given place 5 stars. People were really nice in office�

Wonderful clean campground with very outgoing and friendly host! So many things to do and enough walking area to accommodate walkers Easy and accessible and close to many areas of interest!

Most sites were not clean. I realized that it's the beginning of the camping season but sites should be clean before it opened. There was an old rusty KOA half ton truck with a large trailer that was parked that had looked like it had been sitting there all winter. Two of the tires were flat. There was also an old compressor with flat tires parked by the rest rooms. You can do better.

Our first stay at a KOA with our new trailer. The bar is now set very high and we very much enjoyed the KOA experience. We will definitely stay here (KOA Thunder Bay) again and recommend it to our new camping friends. It is worth the little bit extra for sure.

it was a great stay. we had a patio site where some of the stones were pushed up from the frost. I'm sure they will be fixed up. also we didnt have a bbq as was advertised. hopefully next time!!

Very nice poeple at the desk, very clean but when we got there, the price was more than on line for the same category. It's as if it's more expensive to see people at the counter than no one on line! Finally we got the same rate thanks to the very nice lady.

I have stayed here for the past several years, both spring & fall on my way to/from BC/ON. I have always been pleased with my experience. This past stay, there was a problem. But Christie was very nice & tried to fix asap. She made it right & issued a refund. Thank you, I'll be back again :)

Made a reservation for the night knowing we will be arriving after midnight during our road trip. Was easy to navigate our site. Very thoughtful and friendly staff! Thanks again

Just an overnight enroute home. The campground opened for the season the day of our arrival. Although there was plenty of snow, several sites were plowed and the campground appears well maintained. There was no water at the sites yet, however we were offered potable water fill up at the office. The showers and restrooms were immaculate. Would recommend this park.

The customer service is lacking. Also, it should say on the website or in an email informing folks that there is no water. In addition, the washrooms were closed! Good grief, at least tell us when we check in so we can make an informed decision. No water, no washroom and a mudpit for 62 bucks. Will def not be back and I have left a review in RV Life as well.

A beautiful and pristine place to stay is KOA Thunder Bay. There are events taking place that are family oriented and excellent for all. The pools, splash pad, horseshoe toss, quad trails, mini golf, driving range, scenery and pure hospitality make our stay a pleasure. Thanks!

Terrible stay. I had a pull through camp site with electric power but nothing else. No bathrooms or shower facilities. All locked up. I will never stay at any KOA campgrounds again. Total waste of money.

Pull thru lot flat, level. Bathroom, showers always clean. Well maintained. Laundry clean. Helpful staff. Lots to do at Thunder Bay Area. We stayed a week.

We stayed for the first time on September long weekend. There was a Halloween event and we got confused with what days the festivities were happening. My kids were disappointed to learn they wouldn’t be able to participate. The manager was so kind and helpful. She drove over to our site to offer us another complimentary night. Such great customer service. We are so excited to come back!

Staff were SUPER nice and accommodating. The grounds and bathrooms look “tired” compared to other KOA’s. May be time for a refresh to make grounds more appearing, landscape, bushes, more privacy between lots. It seemed like very wide open field (we stayed towards the left rear side).

First! The staff at KOA has been extraordinarily help for years and years. This must be why there are number of regulars that begin and end the season there. Their office area has a plentiful display of all things you need for your RV. Things break and go missing, but KOA in Thunder Bay most likely has it right there. It seems to me that they listen to the problems people might have, and be sure to deal with that. As both Mike and Kristi have been residents of Thunder Bay since forever and can make recommendations should you have an questions that go beyond the ordinary google searches. There are two ways into town from their location, and there is some nightclub activity less than ten minutes away. There is a small mall across from the Tavern, and there are groceries of ll type. You do not have to travel far. Another five minutes away puts you into the heart of Thunder Bay North, or Port Arthur, the ancient name. Again, more night life and a number of very good restaurants. It is amazing how you can so quickly go from an idyllic camping site to a nice urban centre. The route along our "expressway" has you anywhere nearby in very quick order. This site is run by awesome people, who work with a very friendly and efficient staff who can make your stay a worry free event. The site is well looked after, and you can see that immediately when turning the first bend in the road. I would heartily suggest that you make your trip to KOA a reality.

Another great KOA stayed 2 nights beside the fishing pond even managed to cast a line! Very nice setting. Lots for the hole family games fixing driving range parks dog parks etc. bathrooms are clean and modern with private showers. Very nice 👍🏼 the driveway is long and absolutely wrecked, drive slow coming in or you will shake everything in your rig loose. Also right beside the highway so it can get loud. The front desk woman was not happy that I criticized the driveway…
