I've usually stayed in my 5th wheel for the past 5/6 years, but since selling it, I spent 2 weeks in the deluxe cabin!! Fantastic set up, loved every minute of my stay. If I had any issues, it wasn't with the facility itself, but with no inside element to cook on & the lack of cooking pots & utensils (eg. bread knife & strainer for boiled items} I'll bring those items next year now that I know.

We bought a bundle of wood, but then we wish we could’ve had access to more firewood later in the evening after the office close. It would be nice if they had some self-pay bundled piles of wood at the campsite. We greatly enjoyed the clean cabin that we stayed in. We do wish that the pool could have been open until at least 9 or 10pm at night. We also wish there was a hot tub and sauna.

My stay was short but sweet. The staff ate so friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. All the updates since my last stay are great. You can tell.this is a well cared for and loved resort.

Staff were always friendly and helpful. Cabin was very clean. Amenities were amazing for my 3 year old. Playground is very nice, neat design and structures. Pool was great. Jump pad was super fun for all ages as well. We had fun at the fish pond catching some bass. Washrooms/showers were very clean. Garbages throughout campground were never full. We can’t wait to come back!

Me and my group enjoyed camping at KOA, those two nights will forever be memorable, the cabins are clean and we’re just perfect, the bonfire was lit, the stay was comfy n enjoyable. A big up to the staff you guys are awesome thank you for a great service.

Beautiful place to stay. We wish we would have asked more about what was included with the cabin. My husband and I are coffee drinkers and the little, itty bitty coffee pot was not sufficient. We borrowed a full sized one from friends that live near by. All in all, was very nice. Thanks Kristie!

Our cabin was lovely inside w/view of the lake. Friendly staff- there was a power outage affecting our water for a couple hours and we were promptly notified. The mini golf course was very unkempt and you could tell that it had not been cared for- volunteer trees growing and weeds everywhere. Every hole was the same- putting on uneven green -ball rolls to low spot- frustrating. Pool closed early.

We rented the deluxe cabin. It was a perfect size for 4 people. It was super cute, great bbq and fireplace and overlooking the bay. Lots of games and activities. Had great time.

A really beautiful site with tall spruce, pine and birches. Nice, clean washrooms and showers. Everything on the grounds is immaculately kept.

Fabulous stay, one of our favourite KOAs. Tried a Deluxe Kabin, travelling with a friend and needed added space over the standard Kabins and we were not disapointed. The Kabin was terrific, in great shape and very clean and well maintained. The staff were as always friendly and attentive to our needs and the rest of the camp is clean and well kept though the roads could use a little attention.

We had a lovely time in one of the deluxe cabins. Everything at the Thunder Bay KOA is so clean. The heated pools and new playground are amazing. The kids enjoyed the jump pad. The owners are really friendly and the staff are so kind and helpful. Very impressed! We’ll be back next year. Maybe even a couple times!

Very well maintained facilities. Polite and friendly staff. The kids LOVE the new park! My only feedback is that the pool facilities are quite small and congested when the campground is fully booked. There’s not enough room in the pool and never enough chairs.

Our first time out at KOA (TBay, ON) and it won't be our last. We stayed in the cabins for 3 nights midweek (end of summer) and it was fantastic. My 3 kids had so much to do and are asking when we can go back. Cabin was so clean, not even a spider web in the covered porch. 10/10 we will be back.

The deluxe cabin was awesome. Great inside, nice fire-pit area and the deck was super. Beautiful knotty pine interior, full bathroom facilities, nice decor, 2 bdrm. Just missing a hotplate to cook indoors however, the BBQ had a side burner to serve that purpose. Highly recommend a cabin. The staff were awesome as well. Would stay again. This KOA has lots of activities for kids and adults.

Our yearly family “stay-cation” at the KOA is always amazing and this year was no different. There is so much for the kids to do from swimming to fishing to the many different activities. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at a Deluxe Cabin. It was spotless and the area was clean. The unexpected view was amazing as it overlooked Lake Superior. We got to use some of the amenities the park offers and had a fantastic weekend!

I've been going to this KOA just outside Thunder Bay for 15 years now, the whole family enjoys being out there, all 15+ of us. The Owners Mike and Christy are amazing, all of their staff are polite curtious and respectful. It is a Very safe environment for kids of all ages, provided proper surpervision of your own children is a must. The facilities are all cleaned multiple times a day, Campsites all very in price depending on what suits your needs. Water and electrical hook-up sites available. What really brings me here is the community it DOESNT GET ANY BETTER THAN THE BEST IN CANADA!! I have included as many photos as possible so you all may see what they have to offer.
