Tent Reviews

We have been here for years in the tent spot so we were excited about the remodel. But the tent section is a terrible layout. The back spots have no close access so you have to drag your stuff all the way over. Also parking is odd and created a lot of confusion for us and our fellow campers.

Always amazing

We have stayed with Temecula KOA twice prior to this last caming. The first time we stayed in the arroyo section in a tent and loved the privacy and space we had, so we couldn’t wait for construction to be don’t as it had been closed for about a year. On our return this time we found out construction was still in process and spots were crowded and not easily accessible.

security and the store employees have attitude at Temecula KOA, which isn’t welcoming, KOA lake Isabel have the best customer service and very welcoming, learn from them. Temecula KOA is a good campsite for RV’s, but not for tent campers. Bathrooms were nice and clean, big pool. Tent sites are in one small area, that there’s no privacy, felt as in jail rather the freedom of being in the nat

It was amazing. The only problem is our location t08 doesn’t have place to park car or pull car into. I hurt my ankle taking things back to my car and when we were picking up

Loved the new Bathrooms and new camp sites for tent camping enjoyed our stay

I like the new bathrooms but I was disappointed by the tent area. The spaces are very close together and for some spaces in the back they would have to walk through another tent space to get to them. If they had a golf cart there would be no way to reach the outlet in their spot. Having an option for a tent area with more space and easier access would be nice. The website should have updated pics.

The tent sites were more than we anticipated. Definitely will be back again!

Very relaxing

Way too busy, no maps, wood took AGES to be delivered, tent pad wasn’t easily accessible, construction everywhere. I should have saved the money and just slept in my car. Way overpriced.

The girl at the counter seemed like she hated people. They never delivered our fire wood even though we payed for it. The lake is garbage. The bathroom and showers are nice. I don’t like the hidden fees. The girls at the front also neglected a customer and had to be asked to help her. Not sure if we will be back.We really liked the guy in the guard shack with the longer hair and piercings.

We had a beautiful Mother’s Day. Enjoyed the pool. Took pictures by the lake. Sat under the big trees at our campground. We are in love with the market lights at the tent sites

The new campsites at Arroyo Seco had nice lights and electricity and the bathrooms/showers were nicer, however: - the parking is a pain now. We used to be able to park on our campsites, now cars have to be parked away from campsites and cars got blocked in multiple times by other people. - No running water at the campsites now. Why?? - not enough bathroom stalls & TP runs out -Rocks/trip ha

Overall good. Golf cart could not get it day one which was a let down and also really expensive to rent. Since the area is massive wish there were more activities at the end. Also would have liked a map with trails you can hike.

Rolled up and left around midnight due to noisy neighbors doing karaoke, playing games, screaming kids, well past the quiet hours. Twinkle lights were cute at first but not when neighbors leave them on all night so it's like daylight in your tent. Red ants in the campsite made us camp over to the side. Not a lot of shade and it was quite hot. So, we packed up and left early. Wouldn't recommend 4

My biggest issue is that we had no Internet at campsite T07.

Absolutely loved the setting, great service up front. Tent camping left something to be desired, the way the sites are so very close together. Voices, footsteps, zippered flaps, moans, groans, music and more were reminiscent of a hotel room, not a campsite. The gravel parking area magnified everyone's footsteps. Some foliage and might help absorb the sound?

This was my first time tent camping at KOA and I was impressed with the campground, 100% loving the full service that the employees provided to us! From escorting us to our campsite to delivering our firewoods/ice to us. Now that's what our call full service! I would definitely becoming back

The Lower Merlot is the tenement yard of the KOA franchise. It has an 18th century bathroom that Beethoven utilized.

Temecula KOA at Vail Lake is a massive RV resort with various campgrounds. The entire resort alone provides so much area to get a good walking, jogging and cycling workout. We got a good spot and, therefore, enjoyed the views, fresh air and clean atmosphere. There are lots of trees and grassy fields here, unlike RV parks that look like parking lots. It's also just a short drive away from the wineries. If you like to drink wine but don't have a designated driver, just hire an Uber or Lyft.
