Temecula KOA at Vail Lake Reviews

Had a great camping spot, could use a little TLC for leveling, nothing that was not manageable. The spot had lots of room. Also had lots off activities for everyone to enjoy. Planning on being back next year, all the staff was very friendly. Thank you.

The only reason I removed a star was the lack of cell service in our location and road closure to the lake. Everything else was great! We loved our spacious site and location away from all of the main area near the concessions. The restrooms while "old" in appearance were clean. We loved the croaking frogs at night and the bird watching during the day time. We will be back!

The Wifi voucher system is not good. In this day an age it is critical to have an unlimited Wifi with strong signal throughout the campground. Also you have to have an App to take and manage reservations, process payments, get services, trigger emergencies etc. You need to invest folks! The lack of online systems puts pressure on the staff -> staff getting rude and not helping.

We love everything about Temecula KOA. Music, bar and food in the center of the village,crafts for kids to buy, golf cart rentals, grassy areas. There are lots of employees who are super friendly and helpful. Our only suggestion is to fix the awful WiFi situation. (Campsite includes a code for only one device.)

Had a great time! This is our 3rd visit to Vail Lake and the 2nd time we have stayed in Chardonnay Mesa. We love it up there! The only complaint I have is that some people play their music quite loud. We don't all want to hear it. But during quiet hours I didn't hear anything too loud. Overall it was a great time!

First time stay at Vail Lake KOA. Liked it so much, we moved our yearly "FRIENDSGIVING" to Vail Lake KOA. Would have rated a 5, but there are some minor issues that need attention. Vail Lake is in the process of upgrading many sites. Site 183 30A Plug on pedestal needs replacing. Plug will not hold. Had to use 50A Adaptor. Love all the activities for families/children/adults. LOVE your patio!!!

No access to electricity but overall very nice. Also would be nice for more pickle board courts. Drink cart fun but a little expensive for camping

We camped this past weekend because our son had a travelball baseball tournament. We didn’t get to much time at the camp due to his baseball schedule, but the time we did have was AMAZING. Your staff was so sweet from check in to check out. The camp ground was clean and well kept. Our spot was very spacious. We will be coming back very soon without playing baseball to be able to enjoy everything

Loved everything except first shower stall water pressure was extremely low to even take a shower

Loved the live music!!! Prefered our first campsite 104 but then we had to move to the back no electric and dirt but it was still fun

Campground is well maintained… restrooms where clean but lake is 2 miles away

Very nice campground with spacious sites and great views, So much to do in the surrounding Temecula area. We had wonderful day trips and enjoyed coming back to our campsite to relax and plan for the next day's outing.

Extremely friendly staff. Only suggestion is that it would be helpful to have the trash enclosures marked "Trash" We were asked twice if we knew if there was a place for trash. At that time we hadn't toured the camp, so we couldn't help.

Great stay, very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Good wi-fi and AT&T cell reception. Very clean bathrooms and tidy campground. Thank you!

Very nice and clean

First day we came in the campground taking no hot water for showering but the manager refunded us for the day. The bathroom is not heated and very cold. It looks like a reconstruction project underway.

We love this campground. We also love the patio and firepit improvements you have made to many sites in the oaks. It looks like you are expanding the cottages into the oaks. I hope you do not add any more. The addition of these units makes the campground more of a motel and ruins the campground feel. It would be nice to have some buddy sites added and more 50 amp sites in the arroyo.
