Excellent campground with visible staff keeping things quiet at night. Highly recommend. Looking for dates to return. If only the website let you put in a date range and see, on a map, what’s available. It would also be great to be able to click on the map and see the calendar for that site.

Atmosphere, view and excellent staff. On another note, I was printing our next schedule camping for April 6 - 11, 2025 Site # 22 paid $25.00 to secure the site. I was totally shocked with the price increase per night from $63.00 to $101.00 for next year. It sure would be nice that our retirement would also increase. Apologized for venting. We will somehow manage. Have a great Day! Rudy

Enjoyed our stay, everyone working at the KOA that we came across were very friendly and took time to answer our questions. We noticed all the improvements in some of the campsite areas with the gravel and adding the patios. Also noticed the removal of sites 126-129 and the additional cabins put in their place. Are there any plans to update the restrooms?

Fantastic staff! Very clean! Lots to offer. Out of 35 KOA sites we stayed at going cross country, this store was the best well stocked store and outstanding customer service

Staff are very friendly! Sites are big and spacious. Beautiful views! Bathrooms are clean, but the floors need some attention. Love the fact that you can hang out and have a drink at the Bunkhouse Bar and meet new fellow campers! We will definitely keep coming back!

Nice campground - looking forward to when the roads get repaved and the bathrooms get updated. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, especially in the main office/check-in area and the grounds crew!

Several things happened before and during our stay. I wanted to explain but may not have enough room. The main thing I wanted to say is that you have to speak with campsite and not the after hour people Linda was the best help and corrected the mistakes. The electricity went out for one day and I had to speak with someone with authority in order to get one day refunded. It was stressful.

We camped with 5 other campers with their own campsites (all seniors). We were close together which we were very appreciative of. We were not in one of the upgraded spots but are excited to come back to try those with their own chairs and fire pits.They look so nice. We had a beautiful view and enjoyed long walks and hikes. The bathrooms were always clean and taken care of. We will be back!

Great place and lots to do at the KOA. An added bonus is the world class mountain bike trails there.

Campground continues to get better each time we visit. A little work to the mini golf course would be the only thing I would see helping with our stay. Otherwise, the bike trails are great, camp spots are well maintained and all the utilities worked great.

I love Vail Lake, but I was disappointed. The water pressure was low, making it hard to do dishes and showers, and the roads were unsafe for riding bikes and walking. I twisted my ankle. I appreciate the hours of fun and music, but this time, a group took over Chardonnay, playing their music so loud we had to turn ours off and couldn't even hear each other talk. We complained, to no avail.

It’s a beautiful location and we love the area. The roads are in terrible shape and the electrical boxes are severely outdated and seldom work properly.

We are local to Temecula and Cycle there weekly. We made the Stay for a BMX event (Dirty Fest). Even though we live within 15minutes of the park We will likely make more frequent stays in the future. Thank You and Kudos to Eric Carter's contributions to the Facility!!

So impressed with this beautiful campground. Great staff, but they don't bug you, so you can have a great peaceful stay. Awesome mt bike trails.

Love staying here for our mt. Bike events. Just a few problems this year with other guest in space 309 staying up past 10 pm cutting wood and others partying down by bathrooms til 4am

The issue I have is when there are clear rules for people to abide by regarding quiet times and noise level. I called the front security booth at night regarding the extreme noise level at night and to early hours in the morning, 11:00pm - 4:00am! So what is supposed to be a nice vacation is a miserable time! Also, why is it you can never put our group (GGR/Anne Yoel) together when we ask?

We love staying here! We love the campground and the staff! There’s only two issues and I know they’re going to start working on those this year. One issue is the no power spots in arroyo and the other is the no WiFi in arroyo. Maybe the fees for those spots could be a little less than what’s being charged. The middle pool was heated, but the kiddie pool wasn’t. We will be back as usual!

The bathrooms were disgusting and completely falling apart. The screen above the doorway was ripped open so there were constantly insects everywhere inside. The stall locks were broken and several people including myself got locked into one of the stalls... . The mini golf course is in major need of a repair. Very disappointing.

First stay there and at a KOA, better than I expected. Lots of improvements going on there and looks like it’s going to be very nice. It’s well maintained, we even saw them driving through with the water spraying truck to keep the dust down. There’s something here for everyone. They have pad sites and dirt sites (not my thing) they are putting in brand new cottages too. Highly recommend Vail

I have been going there alot of years . I have always enjoyed the campground. But we won’t be back. The prices are getting to high for just a regular 30 amp spot on a week day .

We had a great time. Was disappointed there were so few people camping this week and didn’t realize the cafe shuts down early as well however that is no reflection on Vail Lake KOA, must have been our timing. Still had a lot of fun, loved the new paved patio spots, those are great!

Excellent campground as well as great staff. We were here thru the week and as you can see we were the only people in this part of the campground.
