Temecula KOA at Vail Lake Reviews

Disappointed that we had now wifi in our site. This should be clearly stated when booking. I dont mind being disconnected but thats not why I book at KOAs. Noise was a bit more than preferred with noisy golf carts, loud music and barking dogs. Quiet time policy needs better enforcement as it took me texting the night guard at 1:00 am to get a group to quiet down directly behind us.

Sadly, our trip experience was poor due to an inconsiderate group of campers in three of the spots near us. Very loud music, including some with explicit language, which continued after being asked to reduce volume after our first night, off leash dog, children on loud motorized toys continually going by our site. We informed a staff member and because it wasn’t “quiet” hours they were ok.

Very clean and I liked our stay in Arroyo very peaceful. Would like to come again but hard to get in

Been mountain bike at Vail Lake for over 20 years, but this was our first camping trip. Can’t say enough good things about the trip. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant, live music was exceptional. Already booked 2 more trips!

Other than the mini golf and trails. There is no activities for the children, unless it’s Friday thru Saturday. Also, I wanted to book for 2025 and couldn’t. Was told I have to wait until mid March. Disappointing…..

Lots of room to walk around. Things to do as well. People are very friendly. Pools looked inviting put we’re closed of course it was winter.

Love this campground!

We had a large group and most had a very good experience. We had a few in the lower outlying spots that didn't have electric, but had water. They couldn't get internet either, but in fairness, I think these sites may still be under construction. We look forward to next year and hopefully your new improvements will be in place. As always, we really enjoyed our visit!

Check in was quick and super easy. We enjoyed all of the amenities including the Cafe, Bunkhouse Bar, Camp Store, hiking, as well as visiting Old Town Temecula. The staff were very nice and helpful. It was an all around great trip!!!

We came with a group and had a great time. The location is amazing. We will be back.

We had a great stay. Loved the mini golf, cafe, store selection and mountain bikes. The golf carts are annoying...their loud music, drunk drivers and they are packed full of people...could do without having to dodge them while walking around the park or worrying for my kids who are on bikes that the golf carts are going to hit them.
