The staff was very friendly and cooperative. However, my biggest complaint was the showers in the bathroom. They were so old and gross that I wouldn’t even use them for any reason. I must say, however, that the commode’s were clean as well as the sinks. There were no mirrors above the sinks or electric outlets.

Amazing place ! Super clean, safe and fun! Activities, store, restaurant, bar . Golf car rentals, bike trails, lake fishing, what more could one ask for ?!? Cant wait to return there.

We had fun but bar line was over 30 min not enough chairs on patio to enjoy music so we stayed at camp second night need more help behind the bar poor guy did his best

Bartender at the bars were horrible this weekend every drink that we asked for they had to pull out a book to see how to make it. They’ve still put no money into the mini golf. Lack of staffing. Unless you go to the new part then it looks super nice. It’s amazing that this place gets top dollar for Easter and Halloween and all site still look run down.

Family Easter event. Campground is feels outdoo rustic yet has beautiful amenities. Friendly staff and fellow campers. Pools are clean and huge. Great bike trails. Love the vibe at the clubhouse area.

We had a great time ! Don’t love that it’s completely dirt, even when we stayed in the newer, nicer area. Which that was a little more under control cuz EVERYTHING was always dirty. But we had a good time otherwise !

Whole group had a great time. Tons to do. Friendly and helpful staff. Everything anyone would need is available onsite. Can’t wait to come back

Love the newly remodeled area. Normally bartenders are fast and efficient but the gentleman running the bar this year where slowwwwwwww. I don’t think I have ever waited an hour for a drink before there and the line was that long

Unfortunately stay wasn’t pleasant. Locations is great for vineyards but that is it. Teen/kids driving golf carts EVERYWHER not OK. The whole place is rundown. Bathrooms was the worst! Seating area by bar had no chairs compared to tables. The late night menu was not available. The over all vibe was trashy & not welcoming. We are definitely not snobs, we’re from Riverside. Had hoped for better.

We did stay in a new area(Arroyo). There were internet poles all around, but we were not connected yet. No cellular service or anything in that area which was tough. The power did go out for everyone, but luckily it was just for a short period.The new bathrooms were great! I would suggest a little bit of lighting on the outside. It was a little scary at night. A second pool area is needed.

The resort was very well maintained, the bathrooms and showers were very clean and all the staff that my party dealt with were all super nice and helpful. We ahd a very great time and would definitely stay here again. Thank you,

The campground was pretty nice. Everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. Only one comment for improvement: I would like to see the bathrooms and showers upgraded. They were not nice and showers need more privacy and some attention.

We had such a wonderful stay! We spent the weekend with great friends, and all of the kids (ages 3, 8, and 9) had an amazing time riding bikes, doing the gem mining, bouncing on the jumpers, and playing mini golf. The campground was clean, peaceful, and the neighbors were very respectful. We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful time! The golf carts, miniature golf, kids activities, bike riding and all the attractions made camping even more fun! Our spots in Rincon were great. Thank you KOA!

Great stay and the campground looks great. Really like all the improvements and now the lake open for fishing is awesome. However, bathrooms and showers need a major update.

We camp at this location many times each year, mostly in patio sites. We love the patio sites that include table and chairs. However, these tables and chairs are never clean. They always have bird poop build up dirt/grime, etc. I realize we are camping in the dirt but I would hope with the extra $ being spent on a patio site these items could be cleaned on a regular basis.

I was asked to leave early even though I payed for late check out. Very irritating I’ve been a long time member at vail lake and have never experienced this, just because you double booked doesn’t make it my problem. Fix your staffing issues and fix your system, I should have been refunded my whole stay with how the situation was managed and how I was treated.

Great campground with beautiful spots! We love renting a golf cart and appreciate the convenience of having firewood delivered directly to our site! Great staff who is very friendly and helpful!

There was an issue with the drains in the showers in the new Arroyo Loop restrooms. The drains in the showers were getting backed up resulting in the entire floor of the shower area being covered with water.

We camped in the Oaks. Check in was easy. Firewood was delivered promptly. The bathrooms were basic with soap and paper towels. The showers had hot water. KOA staff did not enforce quiet hours. The golf carts and electric bikes were a dangerous nuisance. KOA staff did not monitor the safety of cart rental operation in the campground. Don’t come here if you actually want to enjoy the outdoors.

We always have a great time here. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and we'll be coming back for years. I used to come here as a kid in the 70's and early 80's so it holds some cool memories for me. Just wish the water slides were still here. Those were a blast back in the day. Keep up the good work! The mountain biking and trail crews here are top notch and do an amazing job too...

We appreciated the shady sites in the Oak loop. It would be nice to have better lighting at the women's bathroom entrance, it was quite dark compared to the men's. Staff members were either really helpful or downright rude. Overall a good experience, our first rv park.

I had a great stay at Vail Lake. The park was clean and the facilities were well maintained. A few improvements would help more dog waste stations and better access to trash cans throughout the park. I was also a bit concerned about the pool water, especially the lap pool and parts of the main pool, which didn’t seem well filtered. On the plus side, the WiFi was excellent. Overall, a solid stay

The bathrooms in Chardonnay are substandard for a premier site. The showers stalls are disgusting, and there is only a curtain for privacy. Also, the wood bench is too close to the wall to be useable. These bathrooms need some work. There are several umbrellas at the courtyard NOT in use, but there are NO umbrellas at the pool. Please buy some more umbrellas and provide shade at the pool.

We stayed on spot 52 in Chardonnay and we were extremely pleased with the campsite! All the facilities, including a general store restrooms and cafés are well kept and clean! The pool area was outstanding and we love the drive out to the lake KOA Val Lake will always be highly recommended to my friends and family. Thank you.

This is a nice KOA that seems to have been a resort in the past. It covers tons of acreage that includes mountain biking trails, a fishing lake, pickleball court, nice swimming pool and lot of open green space. I stayed in The Oaks with tons of shade trees.

My family loves it here. There is always stuff to do and trails to explore. The sites are great and the staff is amazing. We always feel welcomed. Great job KOA. This is a great resort.

Stayed here for my prop motocross race at Paula raceway and honestly no regrets. I heard fox shut off the water for privateers (I am a privateer) 🤣 so I am 100% glad I was smart enough to keep my main rig here. Temecula is beautiful and I'm glad I got a chance to explore. Temecula KOA at Vail Lake gave me and my team the opportunity to do this so thank you!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Vail Lake is one of my favorite places in the Temecula area to relax and unwind. The grounds are clean, well-maintained, and the overall environment is peaceful and welcoming. It always feels safe, making it a great place for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors. The property has a charming general store that is convenient and adds to the campground atmosphere. There is also a really cool ice cream shop that serves delicious treats along with a variety of food items, making it easy to grab a snack or meal without leaving the property. The bar is another great feature, offering a fun place to relax and enjoy a drink after a day of exploring. Whether you are camping, fishing, or simply looking for a quiet getaway, Vail Lake offers a clean, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice escape in the Temecula area.

Enjoy coming here with my family. For the pass 8 years we been coming. Looking forward in remodeling Oaks area. A little issue with 2 of the workers that is not a customer service friendly when checking in.
