Solid campground all around

The campground is well kept and everyone was wonderful. The miniature golf may area may need an update soon. Another recommendations would be to open the restaurant bar during the week as they were closed mid week and opened on Thursday I asume through Sunday. Lastly, no firewood can be brought in and must be purchased there. Please inform campers earlier.

It was mid week, so very quiet and we had full access to an empty velocity bike park (that was fun!). Bathrooms could use some updating, everything else was closed.

Everything was great, but the bathroom was very neglected with paint chipping, some locks on bathroom stalls missing and the shower was very neglected with paint missing, and looking very dingey. The miniature golf course was pretty neglected too with ripples in the carpet and holes everywhere in it, etc.

First time camping but have visited friends and family previously. Great job on the improvements and new camping spots, keep them coming. A suggestion i would make is of there is a way for you to mention the oak tree location at spot 311. I know that oak trees cannot be removed in CA but its placement made it a challenge to park and exit with a larger trailer. Other than that you are doing great.

We always have a great time we stay here. I think the only small issue was that only half the burners of the BBQ worked. We will still be coming back. The staff is always so kind and helpful. We appreciate that.

Our space #12 was nice & the people in the pull thrus were quiet. We could hear music up to 3:00 am in the spaces to the other side of us. It looked like large groups of people like up to 50 people sitting together in the grass area. That is not good!!

We love this campground. We would just suggest checking the bbqs more often. Ours was really dirty and we could not get the gas on. I realize that some people do not really clean up after themselves but checking the grills would be great. Luckily we brought a portable grill.

Our favorite KOA to stay at . The near by wineries make a great adventure. Fishing is a huge plus since the lake re-opened . Nice large pool area . The live music on the weekends in the evenings is so fun !

Stayed for Mother’s Day weekend. As always, great entertainment in the main quad all weekend. Our spot was nice and level but I was hoping that KOA would have had more improvements to the sites by now. Many are still just dirt and gravel. Also, the cost per night is pretty expensive now. If the cost was lower this would be 5 stars.

Stay is always pleasurable. Just wanted to let you know that spot 142 in the oaks the sewer connection does not allow the hose to screw in. It was this way last year too. We also let you know last year. Just wanted to let you know again.

Fun place, but the conditions of the park are sub par. Do some debris management with the fallen leaves and branches. Grade the rv spots so that it’s not an absolute chore to level the rv. And for god sakes fix the condition of the roads so that our kids can ride bikes and scooters safely.

The road conditions in Rincon are unsafe. The electrical hookups are old and don’t hold the plug. No 110 outlet.

The Chardonnay site we were assigned to was awesome. Initially, we wanted to be situated in the newly-renovated Arroyo section but that area was already fully-booked for Mothers Day weekend. Everyone in our group was glad we were assigned by KOA to Chardonnay.

Had a fantastic stay. Wish the spots in the middle portion of the Oaks were redone (because many of them have little privacy and are uneven), but we still had a great time.

We have come in with southern california brewers for many years. Every year koa has made improvements to many things. Every year we can count on a good experience. See you next year

We really enjoyed our stay. Great family camping locations. We really wish it wasn’t such a party scene everywhere we went Also, the e-bikes were out of control with no cares for the campgrounds.

They are upgrading the campground and it’s great. Only issue we had was the original sites they gave us our motorhome wouldn’t fit because of where the hookups were and a tree in the site. With the reservation information we gave them they most likely should have known this. But we easily changed to another site and all was well. Enjoyed our stay.

The bathrooms in the Chardonnay could use a little work however the rest of the trip the lake, the campground, the swimming pool everything was wonderful thank you

What a great experience we have had and I so impressed with the amount of improvements you have done. From the moment we arrived at the front gate they were very helpful and made sure we knew what to take with us to the office to complete our check in. Front office crew were so nice and helpful and your store is fairly priced with a great variety of things for fun and necessities. Well done!

We love camping at KOA Vaik Lake. The only thing I wish was better is that the café would have been open. We're definitely coming back!! Your staff are very professional, courteous, and friendly and the campgrounds are beautiful.

The renovated campsites are really nice but a bit pricey but we did enjoy ours. The Oaks Bathroom needs a lot of work and should be prioritized before more upgraded campsites.

Attended the Southern California Homebrew Festival. We have enjoyed staying at the Temecula KOA for the last 5 years.

Campsite 87 is nice, but the ground squirells are out of control. They got under the hood of my truck, and chewed through the wiring on 2 of the engines fuel injectors. Down on power towing the trailer home, and will be difficult and expensive to repair. Please do something about the rodent population in that area of the campground.

First time using your facility. Very impressed with the campground set up and campsite selections. Only one complaint was the bathrooms in the area where sites 111 are located, they need to be upgraded. Showers are old and the flush toilets do not work properly, however, they were clean. Look forward to staying at Vail Lake KOA Resort again

Clean,,well keeped,,, quiet,,,,great place to go...my opinion tents on full hook up is a No No. Put them in the grass. Stay pricing keep it 60 to 80 a nite,,,that's a fair price,,,golf cart rental 50 a day is more reasonable. Over all the stay was great,,,oh bathrooms need painted.

Stayed here for my prop motocross race at Paula raceway and honestly no regrets. I heard fox shut off the water for privateers (I am a privateer) 🤣 so I am 100% glad I was smart enough to keep my main rig here. Temecula is beautiful and I'm glad I got a chance to explore. Temecula KOA at Vail Lake gave me and my team the opportunity to do this so thank you!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Vail Lake is one of my favorite places in the Temecula area to relax and unwind. The grounds are clean, well-maintained, and the overall environment is peaceful and welcoming. It always feels safe, making it a great place for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors. The property has a charming general store that is convenient and adds to the campground atmosphere. There is also a really cool ice cream shop that serves delicious treats along with a variety of food items, making it easy to grab a snack or meal without leaving the property. The bar is another great feature, offering a fun place to relax and enjoy a drink after a day of exploring. Whether you are camping, fishing, or simply looking for a quiet getaway, Vail Lake offers a clean, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. Enjoy coming here with my family. For the pass 8 years we been coming. Looking forward in remodeling Oaks area. A little issue with 2 of the workers that is not a customer service friendly when checking in.
